Senior Planning Engineer in Corporate head office, responsible for all projects under government & highway dept which cost more than 5 Billion QAR, consisting for more than 420 projects.
I am responsible to prepare and maintain a risk-based Programme Master Schedule and to identify Key Milestones including interfaces b/n Projects and other Stakeholders covering all projects stages and aligned with Programme Budget.
As part of the Project Control Team, I am also responsible for the integration of Planning, Cost, Risk, and Change Management to maintain consistent and accurate data for official reporting.
• Prepare & maintain a Master Programme Baseline including the procurement of Design, Supervision and construction contracts, aligned with Programme Budget and Packaging list.
• Establish, develop and maintain Programme Master Schedules from FEED to EPC and up to Operation and Maintenance.
• Review of Tender Schedules during Technical Evaluation.
• Review Contractor’s Planning submissions including Baselines and Narrative,
• Progress Updates Schedules and Monthly Reports.
• Prepare Projects Planning Recommendations to Planning Manager and Project Managers.
• Review, monitor and control Projects performance and their Impact on the overall Programme Master Schedule.
• Establish, develop & maintain an overall land acquisition Programme and Reports.
• Prepare Programme Planning Reports and recommendations to Planning Manager and Programme Director.
• Build Projects and Programme interactive Dashboards for Decision Makers at all levels.
• Review & Verify Monthly Programme Updated Schedules.
• Collect, Analyse & Report on Projects & Programme Earned Value.
• Develop & Maintain Trend Analysis on over 4 years period.
• Analyse & evaluate time impact of changes on Programme Schedule.
• Analyse, evaluate & control Time Risk Contingency.
• Identify and coordinate Projects interfaces, identify and resolve Corridors gaps.

• Ensure that Planning Processes are consistently implemented and followed across Projects.

Lead planning Engineer over the $250 Million hotels in Jordan. Responsible for Preparation of Time Schedules using Primavera Responsible for Preparation of Time impacted schedules and claim analysis.

• Analyse and propose risk register for all project risks.

• Maintaining all the daily site progress, gradual monitoring and allocating the project materials, logistics routes and assigning them by using primavera p6.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Preparation of Activity Schedules using Primavera 6 (Level 1 to Level 5).
2.Preparation of Project control daily & monthly reports such as Work Load, projects Overall
progress reports.
3. Maintaining all the daily site progress, gradual monitoring and allocating the project materials,
logistics routes and assigning them by using primavera p6.

Junior Planning Engineer over the $100 infrastructure projects.
• Daily monitoring of site activities highlighting delays and advising recovery actions.
• Tracking and recording the developments and delays in the project using Primavera 3.
• Revise Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Track work breakdown, man hours, and developments in the project.
• Responsible for changes and upgrades as needed to assure accuracy of predictions and adequate representation of current operating conditions.
• Prepare status reports and periodically submit the reports to the Project Manager.
• Work with planners to determine necessary construction projects sequence throughout the project.
• Plan and oversee all aspects of a project from designing plans to hiring personnel to inspecting the jobsite
• Inspect construction sites taking note of soil grade elevations etc.
• Order materials needed for the project always keeping the project budget in mind
• Supervise 18 labors, and sub-contractors
• Attend meetings and discuss project details with clients, contractors, asset owners and stakeholders
