• Drafting, preparing briefs and presentations on policies on abovementioned issues and getting approval from air staff.
• Ensuring availability of above equipment to support different types of aircraft, radar and missile systems and 15 various sized manufacturing set ups all over the PAF.
• Finalization of Technical Specifications for the equipment, contractual negotiations with the local/foreign suppliers, indents and contract documentation and acceptance inspections of the equipment.

Engineering Officer, No 102 Air Engineering Depot at Pakistan Air Force

• Organization: Largest Unit in PAF overhauling aero engines and manufacturing spares, parts and handling equipment for PAF.

• Project: Establishment of overhauling facilities for WP-13 engine

• Project Responsibilities:
• Visited No 5719 overhauling establishment of Chinese PLA Air Force to study WP-13 overhauling processes.
• Prepared Process flow diagrams.
• Prepared the scope of work after comparing the existing facilities at the unit.
• Worked in execution of the project with a team of Chinese designers, experts and PAF engineers and workforce till completion of the project.

• Production Management Responsibilities:
• Planned and executed overhauling, extensive repair and final assembly of major modules and fuel pumps of seven different types of aero engines while supporting a monthly production of over 40 engines and 60 fuel pumps.
• Managed a team of 100 personnel inclusive of engineers, associate engineers and technicians working on three shifts basis.

• Managed the required production output from the largest manufacturing set up of its kind in PAF while looking after all the aspects from receipt of work order to delivery of items.
• Supervised a group of 220 workers/ supervisors in areas of machining, sheet metal works, welding, plating, sand casting, carpentry, paint and heat treatment etc., catering to a wide spectrum of manufacturing from aircraft and aero engine spares to Aerospace/Radar ground handling equipment. The complex is the largest General Engineering set-up in the PAF and is being extensively used.
