Site Engineer
Project : Central Business District (CBD) / New Administrative Capital Position : Site engineer
• concrete works with heavy reinforcement and punching links
• mechanical couplers
• underground tanks
• composite components ( beams - columns )
• coupled shear walls with Spandrel beams
• retaining wall with 14m height
• rafts with beams and rafts without beams
• circular columns with 1.2 meter diameter
• combined and isolated foundations
• concrete truss system
• expansion and pouring joints
• concrete rain trenches
• high fixed block works with sealant components
• fiber glass plastering with control joints and pull-out test
Job Responsibilities:
• Handle all issues related to the assigned area in the project and gather the needed information to implement all activities effectively.
• Receive the monthly target from the Construction team in order to get the new deadlines for the ongoing project.
• Manage the sub-contractors and labor in order to ensure they are working efficiently according to the project specs and quality standards.
• Sign the material request to provide the subcontractors with the needed equipment and materials.
• Coordinate with the safety team in order to check that the safety procedures are going on track.
• Coordinate with the Electrical and Mechanical engineers in order to make sure no conflicts.
• Ensure that the activities performed by the subcontractors and the site labor force match the shop drawings to be delivered to the
Quality Control.
Cost control engineer
Prepare monthly cost reports based on the project's progress ((EV / BCWP / AC/ Revenue to date / CV / CPI /ETC/ EAC / Project Gross Profit G.P)
Study project tender file, and prepare project summary sheet in addition to any other required analysis.
Review new subcontractors' contracts and material purchase orders, comparing them to the project budget.
Make a Material Control Report to make a comparison between the qty at BOQ and qty at PO then compare it with the issued.
Review Purchase Request Quantity and Purchase Order Quantity and Price.
Tracking Actual Cost For (Sup-Contractor, Equipment, Labor, and Material) to prepare Cost Report.
Monitor and control monthly casual wages including direct and indirect labor.
Monitor and control monthly equipment both direct and indirect.
ERP System (E-Promis) user.
Perform Quantity Surveying for All The Items In The Project.
Review Shop Drawing Sheet for All Structural Elements.
Making Monthly Invoices for the Project Owner and Sub-Contractors.
Prepare periodic reports for activities and achievements.
Prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
Checking all the submittal to be followed the Egyptian and International Cods and Standards.
Ensure the distribution of the approved shop drawings.
Follow up subcontractor’s progress.
Review and issue order to pay for subcontractors’ invoices
Prepare the activity according to design drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for consultant review.
Coordinate with Surveying team to provide them with all the information about land and any site measurement required.
