* Calculating quantities and making tables of quantities and prices.

* Contracting with the owners.
* Obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Approval of samples from owners and consultants.
* Contracting with subcontractors.
* Material Purchase.
* Preparing and submitting payments.
* Making variations and get approval for it.
* Obtaining all necessary permits and no objections for projects.
* Preparing the necessary reports and letters for government, departments, consultants, and owners.
* Obtaining the completion certificates.

My function duties and responsibilities:
 Setup of plans and time required the implementation of the functions of job.
 Planning and supervision and organization of all the work of the section and coordination among employees
and follow-up to their performance.
 Checking on all transactions and decision-making or necessary action by regulations.
 Signature on all of permits and outgoing messages from the division.
 Reception reviewers and resolve their problems listed under the jurisdiction of the section and respond to
different inquiries.
 Carry out field inspections.
 Submit periodic reports on the activities of the section, which includes development proposals and overcome
obstacles.
 Participation in the work of the relevant committees’ competence of the department and follow up the
implementation of its decisions.
 Propose the necessary funds to enable the department to perform its duties to the fullest to be included in the
budget of the administration.
 Cooperation and coordination with other relevant departments to section’s work.
Additional functions required:
 Checking the Engineering plans and inspecting the various construction sites to ensure their conformity with
the Municipality’s specifications and requirements.
 Ensuring that the mentioned specifications and requirements are observed prior to issuing the building permit,
during implementation or following the construction works in order to issue the completion certificate. In
addition to these duties, it is vital to be aware of the technical aspects and to know the requirements of other
departments throughout the building states.
 Inspecting the existing buildings to decide whether they need maintenance or are to be demolished after
carrying out the necessary tests.
 Member of the demolition committee which takes the demolition decisions and follows up the executions.
Achievements:
 Participated in preparation of the violation list in Sharjah city municipality.
 Preparation and following up many inspection campaigns.
 Participated in launching of electronic services in Sharjah city municipality.
