* Supervising accounting team, providing expertise and problem solving for the accounting
functions.
* Monitoring accounting activities performed by accountants.
* Preparing monthly and annual financial reports: P&L including P&L by unit (division),
Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement.
* Checking up monthly Trial Balance and observe strange figures & managing to rectify any
misstatement.
* Administers the accuracy and completeness of GL, which includes the updating of the
opening and closing of accounting periods in the system, appending, modification and
closing of posting cycle of the journal vouchers.
* Ensures accuracy and completeness of period end accruals in the accounting system as well
as reversal of such accruals post period.
* Preparing decision analysis -including profitability studies for main group items.
* Overseeing & reviewing all payroll processing on a monthly basis.
* Coordinates with internal and external auditors as required.
* Provides the Finance Manager with adequate information to carry out his responsibilities.
* Directing the cash flow and handling bank communications.
* Monitoring cash balances on daily basis for all bank accounts, preparing expected cash in &
out flow & managing related bank transactions accordingly.
* Handling the required funds for the working capital financing with the best available rates.
* Arranging required funds for overseas purchases with required currencies.
* handling all bank online access agreements, (online transactions, related forms).
* Review bank facilities agreement, coordinate with the Finance manager to get best available
rates & utilize the facilities accordingly.
* Review monthly bank reconciliation & follow up to manage reconciled items
Responsible of Account Payable, Account Receivable, Bank Reconciliation
* Handling monthly payment schedules to vendors.
* Recording taxes for purchases.
* Supporting the invoicing and documentation cycles.
