Ensure the establishment of quality procedures including time limits for inspection, sampling and testing of works and other QA/QC requirements.
Oversee and manage quality assessment of materials through regular and rigid laboratory tests.
Ensure specific quality standards are constantly met at all levels of construction projects.
In consultation with the project staff, review technical specifications and recommend standard construction specifications for all items of works for their effective use in projects’ works.
Review all standard test forms to be used during laboratory tests, QA testing schedules and procedures and evaluate results as appropriate.
Review contractor practices and conventional methodologies and make recommendations where remedial action is required.
Work with project engineers and design consultants for establishing procedures with time limits for the inspection, sampling and testing of works and all other QA/QC requirements.
Conduct initial survey queries on sources to materials, ensuring quality and quantity is of economic value to the project.
1- Study the project documents and break down the project elements to classify these elements into packages.
3- Review the vendors’ profiles to select the most appropriate ones according to the organization’s and project’s criteria. 5- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
7- Work on finding solutions and alternatives to procure unavailable items, suggest other purchase resources and submit them to relevant departments to get the technical approval.
2- Review the Contract Request sent by the site and negotiate the contract conditions with the supplier/ subcontractor to reach a win-win situation.
4- Compare between the vendors' offers and start the negotiation process with vendors to minimize the cost and coordinate payment terms.and make base of estimat for each Activity
6- Make monthly and weekly reports about work done and purchase orders not implemented and delayed explaining the reason of delay and submit them to Procurement Manager.
8- Look for new suppliers with accordance to the approved system of selecting suppliers, make database to include all necessary information about the selected suppliers who are well known for their quality, good reputation and compliance with required quality responsibilities and update it regularly
