• Follow and prepare periodical reports on the Operational, production and raw material consumption
data management
• Conduct the required coordination with gas and utility suppliers.
• Participate in the Operations quality improvement and audit programs, analyses non-routine issues,
and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate and contribute to the development of technical/economic studies and develop short term
& long-term working programs.
• Coordinate activity of reporting within assigned unit.
• Participate in Business Analysis assignments of a more complex/cross operations nature.
• Conduct cost / benefits analysis of activities under study.
• Examine existing processes and systems and design new processes and systems. Recommend
potential improvements.
• Establish internal and external contacts, conducts meetings and prepares technical and evaluative
reports.
• To monitor agreed parameters and other contractual requirements for agreement with other OPCOS
of ADNOC for supply of NG and utilities (Sea water, Desalinated water, Gas Nitrogen, etc)
• Participate in developing/updating/monitoring Budget Preparation Exercise for CAPEX and OPEX
(including Normal Operating Budget) of Operations function to ensure the potential schemes/long
• Provides input for preparation of the Department/ Function budgets, assist in the implementation
of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost
control.

• Ensures all the production activities in the plant are carried strictly as per technical and safety
standards.
• Conducts analyses of production data and preparation of different production reports on regular
basis to ensure all the production activities in the plant are carried strictly as per technical and safety
standards / guidelines.
• Carries out Trouble-shooting of assigned Plant and conducts general operations studies to achieve
targeted performance.
• Participates in HAZOPs meetings of Management of Change MOC with / modifications / new
projects or studies.
• Assist in Technical evaluation of materials to be procured for plant process purposes.
• Participates in different Audit Programs as required, follows up the recommendations for effective
implementation and ensures all the related documents are filed properly
• Business case development for Energy Saving/ Plant Reliability & Integrity Projects
• Plant Performance assessment and ensure mitigation measures for Risks are in place.
• Monitoring Excursions of IOWs in Ammonia and Urea plants and guidance for resolution of issues
• Tracking Compliance of Alarm Management System and facilitating to meet the target
• Prepare and timely submission of weekly, biweekly updates on progress of studies and projects

Carries out process engineering work in assigned Plants on daily basis that includes monitoring the process
parameters, carrying out regular process audits in the Plant; trouble-shooting and general operations studies;
regular analyses of production data and preparation of different production reports on regular basis.
Scope of work includes; reporting the day-to-day operations of the assigned Plants to line Manager along
with the proposals to support the safe and optimized activities to produce the required production targets.
