• Working as a shift electrical engineer.
• Assistant Shift Electrical Engineer.
• Then Shift Electrical Engineer for Sudanese Sugar Company.
A Shift Electrical Engineer Duties: • Maintains the operation and surveillance of all factory equipment.
• Carries out all required operational changes.
• Maintains an operating log and provides operating data, graphs, etc.
pertinent to the efficient operation of the plant.
•Overhauls and repairs factory equipment.
•Cleans the plant and equipment.
•Acts as a liaison and directs the Assistant Engineers.
•Provides training to other Engineers as required.
•Acts as a communication center: relays messages, transmits and receives
information and initiates the appropriate actions.
• Performs maintenance and repair work on all plant equipment.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new and existing equipment.
• Establish a good line of communication with all Factory personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
COMPUTING: • Introduction, Office (Word, Excel, Power Point),
• Internet awareness,
• Adobe Acrobat,
• AutoCAD
• Light maintenance of PCs. (Hardware & Software)
Working knowledge with forging company as before with: • TATE &LYE, UK. In Sugar Refinery Project.
• SURENDRA, INDIA in Steam Stabilization Project.
• ATOM, INDIA in Bagasse Handling System Project.
• ISGEC, INDIA in Boiler Control Project.
• MECWEL, INDIA in (Operation and Maintenance of Sugar Factory
Machines)
• FIVE CAIL, UK in (Shredder Cane Preparation Project)
• SKODA, Germany in 13MW Co-Generation Power Plant 13.0 M.W
• NTC, Sudan (Relays Setting and Circuit breaker test)
• KTC, Sudan Refinery Station Connection.
• Operation, maintenance, trouble shooting and monitoring parameters of various types of Generation like back pressure, extraction cum condensate
turbine of various manufactures.
• Operating experience in various types of DCS, PLC &SCADA Systems.
Key Roles:-
• Having Knowledge of erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment's & auxiliaries.
• Having knowledge of operation in B/C & Relays.
• Participation in plant shutdown works and trouble shooting.
• Having knowledge of isolations and de-isolation procedures, Safety work
permit systems, personal protective equipment's and firefighting
equipment's.
