Role: Facilitating and tackling an asset portfolio of $30 billion whilst having a $20 billion backlog in assets including assets being available on the ground for 10 years to be handed over from all assets categories e.g. Pavement, Bridge, Corridor, Signs and Delineation (S&D) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Responsibilities:
• Developing a multi-criteria analysis using the organizational risk management framework to prioritize projects. Each project in the backlog was provided a utility score which was used to prioritize projects.
• Rectifying the backlog while instituting a robust improvement plan to prevent recurrence.
• Chairing meetings and implementing communication management plans.
• Ensuring that the Asset officers know that these assets have been added to the inventory in RAMS.
• Having defined what good looks like, establishing alignment between teams, and setting specific measurable targets and mitigating the organizational Risks.
• Initiating the handover process for the backlog with our focus shifting to people, processes, and technology to ensure a comprehensive transformation. We ensured that we reported to the key stakeholders weekly.
• implementing change management practices, streamlined processes through mapping, and integrated digital tools which led to efficiency and transparency. Key Achievements:
• Reduced Backlog risk was reduced by 50% in the first 10 months alone, and the corporate risks were mitigated.
• Asset handover culture change and driving the Asset management system change with the team.
• Integrating assets into the portfolio and meeting attestation requirements.
• Issuing more than 60 Certificates Of Completion (CoCs) Certificates for the projects handovers with assets valued at more than $13 Billion in WPZ/CRZ.

Role: I was responsible for planning FY22 of CAPEX, OPEX civil programs for motorways (M2, M5) and tunnels (Lane Cove Tunnel, Eastern Distributor Tunnel, Cross City Tunnel) and supporting the project team in delivering FY21 projects e.g. Pavement Repairs (OG & DG - road resurfacing, potholes repairs, crack sealing, linemarking works), M2
• Batters and Cuttings (Rock bolting, shotcrete, de vegetation works).

Responsibilities:
• Preparing scopes of work, procuring contractors (BOQs, RFQs and POs), awarding contracts and managing contractor performance through execution.
• Ensuring work is delivered safely and achieves scope, technical specification and quality requirements.
• Managed contracts, administering progress claims and variations in accordance with the contract and managing program and budgets, preparing forecasts and cost and progress reports.
• Worked with internal stakeholders and asset owners to clarify project briefs, prepare budgets and project management plans. Engage designers and manage design to achieve specification and buildability requirements.

Role: I was responsible for planning and delivering of CAPEX program for some roads and infrastructure projects (Road resurfacing, Stormwater pipe relining, Footpaths reconstruction, Drainage network maintenance and Road crossings works) to the Council Asset Department so my mission was to successfully initiate and deliver these projects before the deadline and below the budget and as per quality standard. Responsibilities:
• Prepared and manage programs for the maintenance and improvement of Local roads, bridges, footpaths, carparks, cycleways, kerb and guttering, rural drainage, bus stops and traffic facilities.
• Provided technical expertise in all areas of councils Road network including best practice engineering techniques in the maintenance and construction of roads, bridges and cycleways, road and path resurfacing.
• Assisted the infrastructure projects and services Manager in ensuring that Councils Civil Operations Budget is completed within priority time and budget constraints and adopted standards using project management and technical skills utilising Council labours and external contracts.
• Completed all project reporting in accordance with Government reporting standards.

Role: I created scalable project management plans, templates, tools and case studies for local government to ensure a consistent approach across civil infrastructure projects for all New South Wales councils adhering the project management professional (PMP) procedures. Responsibilities:
• How to manage projects and related specific activities within given constraints of time, budget and quality and how to create reasonable and achievable scope, schedule and costs plans.
• How to lead risk management within project management team and ensure risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans through the risk tools like risk matrix and risk register. How to plan, schedule and control activities to fulfill identified objectives applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements.

Role: I delivered $10M worth of road upgrades for the 2019/2020 roads program to the council Asset Department.
The work involved in completing more than 38 roads over 7 months working weekdays, weeknights and weekends from initiating stage to handover stage completing all required cost estimates, BOQs, RFQs, POs, TCPs and ITPs. Responsibilities:
• Planned, organised, inspected and reported on various construction & maintenance works on road and infrastructure programs.
• Provide support for capital works across other Councils roads and infrastructure programs.
• Reporting on the status of roads and infrastructure projects and activities.
• Assist in the Project Management of Councils Capital Works program and other roads and infrastructure projects to ensure outcomes, timing, budget and other associated objectives are met in accordance with best practices.
• Undertook all liaison with stakeholders to ensure effective communication across all levels. Key Achievements:
• Reduced non-conformances and prevented repeated non-conformances.
• Overcame delays and completed 100% of the program before the end of the financial year.

• Preparing scopes of work, procuring contractors, awarding contracts and managing contractor performance through
execution. Ensuring work is delivered safely and achieves scope, technical specification and quality requirements.
• Supervised works undertaken by subcontractors and ensured contractual obligations were meet and that they
adhered to health, safety and quality requirements.
• Prepared and supervised the development of all quality and safety plans for roads projects.
• Assisted in the production of drawings, information, calculations, quantities, specifications related to roads
engineering works.
• Reviewed and approved traffic management plans including traffic diversion plans, and ensured subcontractors
complied with traffic plans, risk and safety plans.

Role: I delivered several large infrastructure road projects in Mecca, Jeddah Cities and the Qadima Port
combined value $65M. Projects:- Maintenance of south of Mecca roads (for Client: Mecca Municipality) $10 M.
• Saved more than $100K for late delivery in this project which was inside the crowded Mecca city.
• Developing Al Hamdaniya Area (Infrastructure and utilities construction) $15 M.
• Supervised the parks, water tanks, roads and utilities construction in this project and delivered it on time.
• Improvement of the traffic intersections in Jeddah (Client: Jeddah Municipality) $15 Million AUD.
• Converted many roundabouts to signalized traffic intersection and improved the traffic flow. Expansion of the entrance for Military Qadima port of M.O.T (Client: Ministry of Transportation) $25 M.
• It was a highway project with a bridge intersection with 4 loops and 4 ramps including culverts concrete works and earth works. Responsibilities:
• Ensured regular and accurate updates of project schedules through MS projects, to drive individual area
milestones and reported to senior management on progress.
• Managed deliverables by external sub-contractors to ensure quality standards, schedules and budget levels were being met. Also, instructed supervisors & crews leaders on methodologies for defect free construction of works.
• Ensured communication with various stakeholders (incl. Ministry, Municipalities, Consultants, Subcontractors) Key Achievements:
• Received appreciation letter from Jeddah Municipality for greatly improving the traffic flow during construction at Alharameen Road and improved the accessibility to King Abdul-Aziz Airport in Jeddah.
• I put into place scheduling and programming solutions to ensure the company avoided delay and an extensive $100K penalty.

Role: I commenced as site engineer and then was promoted to Project Engineer for the construction of $15M worth of asphalt pavements and lighting. Main Responsibilities:
• Executed overall site management and managed and coordinated all work activities between subcontractors and prepared the weekly works for the surveyors and the inspectors.
• Utilized equipment to get maximum output to benefit the company and keep it in good condition.

Key Achievements:
• Launched a new management methodology, obtained all the works approval and permissions.

 Supervise various type of construction, in addition to preparation of shop drawings using AutoCAD for some buildings.
