With the vision, mission and values of KAMC, the director is responsible for overall administration, supervision and organization of patient's relations and rights services, which include implementation and compliance of policies and procedures. The director will handle any communication difficulties, grievances, and/or conflicts and will serve as an advocate or mediator for patients, sitters and visitors.
Achievements
I established the dept. from scratch, and in a very short time it became a reference and role model to be followed for all MOH medical cities
Spread the concept of patient’s rights and responsibilities.
Set and review policies and procedures related to patient’s rights.
Set the job description for the department staff.
Prepared and print different media materials to educate both staff and patients/families of patients’ rights and responsibilities.
Approved the department mission, vision, values, goals and objectives.
Designed different internal department forms.
Established communication channels with patients / sitters and visitors.
Completed different statistics and patients satisfaction reports which be reported to the CEO monthly.
Established an electronic reporting program for patient’s concerns, problems and solutions.
Trained and educate new hired staff.
Participated in different committees related to patients’ rights.
