التعريف بالقسم​ مقدمة تقدم كلية الاقتصاد والعلوم الإدارية برامج دراسية تتوائم مع التطورات السريعة التي يشهدها اقتصاد المملكة العربية السعودية ويلبي الطلب المتزايد على القدرات الوطنية المؤهلة للوفاء بمتطلبات السوق المحلي من المتخصصين. ويتولى التدريس في الكلية نخبة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس الحاصلين على شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعات عالمية ومحلية ذات مدارس فكرية وعلمية متنوعة. نبذة عن القسم قسم الاقتصاد هو نواة الكلية وأول قسم افتتح بها وقد مر قسم الاقتصاد بثلاث مراحل أساسية في تاريخه، حيث بدأ عام 1399ه كقسم متخصص في الاقتصاد الإسلامي في كلية الشريعة بالرياض، ثم انفصل وأصبح شعبة مستقلة. وبعد ذلك تم توسيع التخصص ليشمل تخصصات الاقتصاد والعلوم الادارية وبعدها صدرت الموافقة السامية بتحويل قسم الاقتصاد والعلوم الإدارية بكلية الشريعة إلى كلية مستقلة تحت المسمى نفسه في 1427ه. رؤية القسم تأهيل خريجين متميزين بالمعرفة الاقتصادية والرؤية الشرعية رسالة القسم يسعى برنامج البكالوريوس في الاقتصاد لإعداد كوادر بشرية على مستوى عال من المعرفة الاقتصادية بجوانبها النظرية والتطبيقية والشرعية بالإضافة إلى تنمية المهارة البحثية بما يؤهل تلك الكوادر نحو الإسهام في تلبية أسواق العمل وتطوير الاقتصاد الوطني. أهداف القسم - تأهيل خريجين على مستوى متميز يتوافق مع التقدم العلمي والتقني والتطورات الاقتصادية ومستجدات سوق العمل. - تنمية المهارات في الجانب التطبيقي، والقدرات البحثية للطلاب. - تأهيل الخريجين للمنافسة في سوق العمل - تأهيل الخريجين في مجال الاقتصاد الإسلامي. https://units.imamu.edu.sa/colleges/Economics/scientific_departments/Pages/Economy.aspx الاقسام العلمية: https://units.imamu.edu.sa/colleges/Economics/scientific_departments/Pages/default.aspx
