• Due diligence on new investments initiative, preparation of investment appraisals, teasers, term sheets and giving presentations to investment committee, group companies, internal family members and bankers with rationale to undertake transaction.
• Analysis and review of existing Investments/portfolio in order to maintain their risk & return profile, advising on disinvestments and on new business initiatives.
• Preparation of Investments budget, by region, by investment centers to manage resources within budget to attain targeted revenue and related profitability.
• To conduct periodic review and analysis of existing portfolio, preparing review reports and submitting to management with a view to ensure the performance of each class of assets remain within outlined parameters and to take timely corrective action if required.
• Portfolio Management of different class of assets, Real Estate, Equities and Commodity markets covering local markets, USA, Europe and emerging markets as well.
• Interacting with market players, engaging them to utilize company real estate portfolio for development which best suited company interest.
• Responsible for strategic planning, cash flow management and deployment of resources in appropriate and potential projects and suggest capital rationing.
• Responsible for planning and arrangement of long term and short term funding/banking facilities and to ensure optimal utilization of resources by each business unit within the group.

• Responsible and advising on Investor Relations disclosures, policies, procedures and guidelines to build and maintain corporate image of the bank.
• Develop and execute a proactive IR plan, activities and objectives, get it approved by Management / BoD in consultation with the CEO / President.

• Assist Senior Management on special assignments e.g. IPO, due diligence, Merger & Acquisitions, Right Issues, Dividend (Cash/Stock/Bonus Issue), capital restructuring transactions.
• Manage the annual shareholders’ meeting and maintain proper control over the share registry of the Company, including management of proxies to ensure quorum for the meeting.
• Liaison with group companies/associated/subsidiaries/related parties of the bank for preparation of various periodic & special purpose reports to the BOD members and submission to regulators.
• Responsible for coordination of all arrangements and conduct of meetings of the Board of Directors and Sub Committees of BOD.
• Attending BOD, BOD Sub- Committees and Management Committee meeting as and when required, noting proceedings, and preparation of minutes.
• Disseminating decisions of the Board & its sub-committees meetings to all concerned and follow up actions items and progress on the same for updating the BOD in the next meeting.
• Interact with all departmental heads, unit heads to have their feedback and progress on the decisions/guidelines given by the BOD & its sub-committees and preparation of progress report to update the BOD members on compliance & deviations (if any).
• Preparation of report to keep the BOD members informed about changes in laws & regulations taken place in regulatory framework by different regulators.
• Arrange to conduct orientation training program for the new directors with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).
• Responsible for management of investor’s relation section on corporate website of the bank.
