APART OF THIS THEY HAD SHIPPING & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT WHICH THEY WANTED TO DEVELOP.
IN JUST 2 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE I MANAGED TO FULLY DEVELOPPED THE LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT NOT ONLY BY HAVING OWNED CONTAINER'S TO MAKE THEM NVOCC SMALL SIZE BUT ALSO BROUGHT THE IMAGE OF THE COMPANY AS KNOWN BREAK BULK OPERATORS.
* Establish good relationship with new agents as well principals world wide.
* Steer the setup of NVOCC operations, manage liner services, & handle owned or chartered vessel fleet operations.
* Plan the annual budgets & assign targets to meet the targets for operational profit.
* 100% handling of capacity management, vessel allocation, space control including liaison with the commercial team & trade desk, in order to optimize & utilize vessels to maintain the financial stability for the company.
* Cater to requirements from customers & provide them with different types of ships within the time frame as required.
* Assist team in overcoming all kinds of operational problems
* Prepare profit & loss reports to HO management for each voyage on operations cost savings with respect to port agency cost, survey cost, bunkering cost, stevedoring cost, marine cost, logistic cost, & empty repositioning cost
* Coordinate with international agents and partners as host as well as by travel across countries
* Establish the good links and relations with the key customers
* Monitor performance of sales team & operational team and report the daily progress to senior management.
* Developping new Break Bulk services as operators from Middleast to Indian subcon and Red Sea.
* Managing Ships as Manager’s both commercial & Technical for METEC, Ethopia.
* Develop Routings for Metec Ships of 15000 dwt, x 2 old ladies in this tough market and brining positive results.
* Maintaining the ships within the cost frame as per the market situation and freight ongoing.
* To control the Financial system for the company and perform in the given budget to achieve the targets.
* To monitor and handle the legal aspects of the company as well as for every fixtures and business that develops for the company.
