 Inspection of Piping Fabrication and erection works like joint Fit up (Bevel angle, root face, root gap and smooth pipe and free from rest, dust, oil and moisture) and dimensions inspection.
 Pressure Testing (Hydro test, Pneumatic Test, Leak Test) witnessed & verification of all required documents such as (check list, P&ID, ISO Drawings, Weld summary, NDT reports, Gauges calibration certificates, pipe cleaning records etc) and verify of NRV (Non Return Valve (check valve) ), Pressure relief valve, gate valve direction is correct & Pressure relief valve validity.

• Plan, organize & perform inspection, testing and condition monitoring of stationary equipment as per relevant codes to assure their reliable and safe operation.
• Perform Inspection of In-service Plant Piping of CS, different grades of Alloys & Stainless steel with the help of ultrasonic equipment’s like Panametrics 26MG.
• Supervise all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment which includes vessels, columns, fired heaters, boilers, shell and tube heat exchangers, air cooled exchangers, cooling towers, storage tanks, plant, leased customer, royal commission corridor, royal port, Sabtank terminal and offsite piping etc.
• Develop recommendations for appropriate action on equipment in need of repair/replacement and ensure maintenance according to specific / applicable codes and standards.
• Lead the inspection team constitute of engineers, supervisors and NDT technicians in carrying out all inspection activities on equipment, storage tanks, plant and offsite piping.
• Prepare job lists for shutdown testing and inspection (T&I) requirements for all equipment and piping circuits and participates to finalize the T&I scope of work.
• Inspection and verification of new equipment, piping, and structures to be installed at plant.
• Assess the deterioration mechanisms, corrosion rates, and investigation of failures in order to establish inspection frequencies and corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure the quality of welding and fabrication jobs as per standards.
• Execution of Non- destructive examinations as a base line for future reference.
• Execution of hydro tests of piping, heat exchangers and equipment.
• Inspection of pipe coatings, paints and insulation.
• Inspection during installation and commissioning of vessels, heat exchangers, piping erection and equipment modification at plant.
• Responsibility to monitor and follow-up PM Inspection plans on SAP for notification creator & work order (PMs & CMs) confirmation.
• Exchanger repair work like re-tubing, defective tube plugging followed by NDT and tube and
• Preparation of Technical Reports upon failures with detailed history / observation, probable root cause, and recommendation for corrective action and linking the reports to Meridium software.
• Involved in RCA Team for various failure analysis in the plant.
• Witnessing of pressure relief valves calibration and testing.
• Working in Meridium APM Frame for RBI analysis, IM preparation, PSV reporting, TML reporting etc.
• Co-ordinate with STC for the investigation of major failure analysis in the plant.
• Involved in MOC process and HAZOP for modifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of, isometric, Piping layout, and P&ID for a continuous process plant.
• Identify damage mechanism and its susceptibilities for the equipment based on operating and maintenance histories calculate and review corrosion rates & remaining life as per relevant codes.
• Prepare & maintain all IMS documents, establish records & incorporate all revisions for internal & external audit as per ISO standards conforming QMS requirements.
• Prepare/maintain history cards of all plant stationary equipment, tanks and piping.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.
• Prepare data to implement and updates the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance Plants Integrity and Reliability in order to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance cost and Plants Availability.
Check condition of safety relief valves, prescribes repairs, as required and witness relief pressure setting.

check on calibration certificate, material test certificate (MTC) and welding consumable certificate to determine their availability and validity.
• Ensure that welders ‘qualifications with identification and range of approval are verified and that only approved welders are required.
• Identification of welding consumable such as electrode, filler wire, fluxes, shielding and backing gases.
• Check dimension, tolerances, preparation, fit-up and alignment in accordance with the approved drawings and standard. Carry out visual inspection to ascertain acceptability of appearance of welds, dimensional accuracy and Conformity with drawings and standards requirements. Monitored and record daily welding activities.
• Preparation of test packs individual system wise, which includes daily weld reports, weld summary traceability, coating report, holiday testing reports etc.

• To coordinate the daily planning meeting with maintenance & operation supervisors for scheduling the daily job plans.
• Prepare the backlog of various disciplines plants and taking certain actions to keep backlog at an acceptable level as per Maintenance Policy.
• To coordinate with the contractors for outsourcing jobs & initiating the request for job to the contractors.
• Prepare, implement and follow up project work plans, including annualized targets, preventive maintenance, indicators for monitoring and data collection procedures
• Manage the workshop Machinery / equipment’s and vehicles; ensure their proper use age, maintenance, inventory and logbooks.
• Inspection & Monitoring the maintenance / engineering work as per designed specifications to ensure the overall QA/QC parameters
