● Act as the main technical engineer on the site for marble and stone works fixers, labor and operatives.
● Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
● Coordinate with factory to approve materials work orders, cutting lists, and design requirements as site work requires.
● Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
● Suggest cost-effective solutions and proposals on site.
● Plan the work and efficiently organize site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
● Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
● Preparing daily and monthly installation reports to ensure the efficiency of labor works and to collect data for future installation charges.
● Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

● Determine project specifications by studying the plans and follow client requirements.
● Supervision on sub-contractor works.
● Inspect materials delivered to the project site for compliance with approved materials data/samples.
● Provide technical solutions and suggestions to fulfill the project requirements.
● Prepare project schedules for every milestone and make sure the work is done according to Critical Path Method (CPM).
● Prepare quantity surveys for new projects.

Construction, management and supervision of Commercial Buildings, Private villas and shalets and my duties include:
- supervision for civil works and other finishing works
- coordination and management between sub-contractors.
- Quantity surveying and pricing/bidding for projects.
- prepare electrical, plumbing, ceiling and furniture plans
- provide technical solutions for various problems that might occur.
- provide simple structural design proposals for renovation works.
- check material specifications and follow up with quantities on site
- make sure workers are following health and safety precautions.

Project Description:
Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Sabah Camp Project is located at Subiya Road, North of Kuwait where the project is divided into eight zones which includes the development of multiple facilities for the army such as headquarter building, clinics, storages, roads, Mosque and others. I worked in several zones throughout the duration of the project where I was mostly responsible for Steel reinforcement inspection, Concrete Casting Quality Control and Mechanically Stabilized Earth Retaining Walls works (MSE).

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Inspect all work during construction for site works to ensure compliance with the contract documents, approved shop drawings and materials.
•Inspect the civil and structural materials delivered to the project site for compliance with approved materials data/samples. Ensure that testing of materials is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards.
•Check quality of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with contract specification requirements, method statement and approvals.
•Inform Resident Engineer and Head of Structures immediately if any serious incident occurs which could affect the safety, stability, serviceability or durability of the structure, adjacent structures, (or temporary structures), whether in the short or long term. If appropriate, instruct emergency procedures to avoid accidental damage.
• Issue JSIs, NCRs and SVNs as the case may be applicable.
• Review and comment on contractors’ method statements, quality plans and safety plans.
• Carry out regular periodic inspections at the site to ensure that safety standards are being maintained (e.g. scaffolding, formwork, ladders, shoring, dewatering, etc.)
• Ensure that contractor staff on the site are fulfilling their duties correctly with respect to the day to day supervision of the civil and structural works.
