As a Sr. Electrical - ICT/ELV Engineer at KEO International Consultants, I am responsible for coordinating engineering efforts in my assigned areas between specialty and other disciplines stakeholders, with the client, suppliers, and contractors. My duties include overseeing the related Electrical-ELV engineering consultancy tasks from project conceptualization to completion within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• In my role, I review all documentation submittals received from the Contractor on the Systems installation, working closely with the MEP other disciplines Engineers to ensure that all services are coordinated, and the design is seamlessly conveyed to the site.
• clarifying discrepancies and ensuring technical compliance and functionality at an elevated level of quality.
• Review all outgoing project work and correspondence to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Clarify any design discrepancies and ensure technical compliance of all designs within the department, taking full responsibility for quality and functionality.
• Foster productive and positive communication with clients, design teams, suppliers, contractors, and local authorities.
• Embrace site supervision duties associated with the tendered scheme.
• Attend assigned meetings with enthusiasm and a cheerful outlook, ready to contribute and learn.
• Furthermore, I conduct reviews of outgoing project work and technical and commercial correspondence, ensuring that all work produced by the team is accurate and delivered as per the agreed schedule.
Technical & consultation supervision of engineering/constructions of Electrical-ELV systems as well as MEP Project Coordinator, systems integrated with Electrical/ELV works in a senior capacity as part of Megaprojects
Duties &Responsibilities:
•The Overall Phases of Coordination Sequence: -
•Design Coordination.
•Local Authorities Coordination with Design Drawings.
•Construction Composite Shop Drawings Coordination.
•Temporary Installations Coordination with Permanent Installations.
•Stablish Construction Process and its Sequence, Confirming All MEP Systems are Superimposed and Coordinated on the Composite Shop Drawings and Submission Required Plans and Sections.
•Engineering Value by following up on the materials and equipment from suppliers & manufacturers for the Electrical and ELV/ ICT project during the Initiation stage and negotiating for the final price before signing the contract with commercial department coordination.
•Responsible for the overall project team performance and coordination Ensuring project deadlines.
•Elaboration and update of the project planning data (an-effort, actual costs versus budget, times-schedules, personnel deployment planning etc).
•Monitoring of project progress performance.
Achievement of program objectives as stipulated in the contract and in compliance with company guidelines and policies.
•Management and coordination of project Stakeholders
•Risk, Cost management & development of remedies, and mitigation of deviations from plans.
• Contract management including necessary correspondence to address technical, commercial, and contractual issues.
•Responsible for the supervision of Quality Assurance and HSE activities for the related works.
•Preparing the procedures for final handover and Closeout project requirements.
ELV Manager / Sr. MEP projects Coordinator, Duration: September/2014 - December/2022
Technical & consultation supervision of engineering/constructions of Electrical- ELV systems as well as Main Contractor MEP Project Coordinator, systems integrated with Electrical/ELV works in a senior capacity as part of Megaprojects.
• As the ELV/ICT Manager/Sr. MEP Coordinator. at China State Construction Engineering Corporation in Kuwait, my responsibilities include overseeing the installation of electrical and low voltage systems in construction projects. This involves coordinating with other Main Contractor engineering disciplines, Specialized subcontractors’ and with PMC/ Supervision Consultants and the client.
• Managed a process re-engineering project to improve and consolidate end-to-end design review processes; restructured communication flow among all project departments, achieved through several phases. Firstly, we coordinated design reviews, followed by coordination with local authorities using design drawings. We also coordinated composite shop drawings for construction and temporary installations, ensuring they were coordinated with permanent installations.
• We established a construction process and sequence, confirming that all MEP systems were superimposed and coordinated on the composite shop drawings, as well as submitting required plans and sections. We also managed the detailing, costing, price negotiation, and scheduling of electrical projects associated with ELV/ICT systems.
• oversaw the whole project and coordinated with the commercial department to sign the contract. I ensured that the project and team performance were monitored and controlled, and deadlines were met in compliance with company policies and guidelines. I documented all correspondence related to technical, commercial, and contractual issues.
• Additionally, review construction and shop drawings, we prepared RFI's for technical clarifications in the drawings and specifications., review subcontractor progress reports.
• Furthermore, as the Project Manager (Electrical/ICT), I oversaw the whole project and coordinated with the commercial department to sign the contracts. I ensured that the project and team performance were monitored and controlled, and deadlines were met in compliance with company policies and guidelines. Also, I report site progress to the PD and communicate any potential impacts on quality, time, cost, or HSE to respective managers.
Duties &Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventative maintenance procedures are followed including accurate completion of the preventative maintenance program as well as revenue and budget.
• Review and finalize all related maintenance contracts with end-users and facilities company after handover; work to increase net worth, reduce costs and increase the cash flow of division constantly monitoring the volume of work and job mix for maximum effect
• Resources Mobilization (organization chart, staff requirements, manpower histogram), planning budget, and coordination with the financial department
• Provides ongoing training and development programs for all service personnel with follow up and evaluation
• Continuously evaluate the provided service performance for compliance with service contracts and established company performance standards
• Work with the management and various stakeholders to establish overall objectives regarding sales support, and running projects technical support.
• Executed& expanded the engineering Value by following up on the materials and equipment from suppliers & manufacturers for the Electrical and ELV/ ICT project during the Initiation stage
Achievement
Increasing the number of maintenance contracts by around 300% by:
• Restructured the department and employed highly skilled and trained staff
• Systematized the maintenance process for to ensure maximum service and customers' needs.
• Creating a repair shop within the department to reduce the cost of maintenance.

•Monitors projects execution schedules and follows each engineer’s individual tasks to avoid any delay, including the availability of resources and Materials.
•Manage all aspects of technical matters and provide required guidance to subordinates.
•Coordinating between the different MEP and Civil disciplines to ensure an accurate and correct plan deliverable starting with the Initiation phase of the project baseline schedule
