In the position of Associate Software Engineer, I evaluated and resolved issues concerning the current processing of the system, investigating problems arising in the production environment during the processing of live data through the PRA software. I also determined code modification to the PRA software in order to resolve pending issues. The position also included replacing, deleting or modifying the code to correct further errors and test the modification to assess success. In addition, I designed, tested and documented various modifications performed that enhanced the functionality and operating efficiency of the PRA software for the various airline clients.
As an Associate Software Engineer, I created testing strategies for the company’s printers, printer software, and identification software. In addition to that I implemented the tests before the release of the software into the market. I worked closely with the Senior Engineer in the future product development, while learning Database and Networking Systems as and when required for testing. My Database Administration skills as well as the mastery in the various applications such as Pagemaker and Photoshop, allowed me develop and run the tests applicable to the printers and printer software.
