Supervised employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
Prepared plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
Distributing the food and vaccines.
Receipt of food commodities.
Planning commodity requirements for project activities.
Supervise secondary transportation if necessary.
Lead distribution process at designated centers if required.
Compile quantities/accurate distribution reports on daily basis.
Assisting and supervising all maintenance logistics activities in the base (Vehicles, fuel consumption) with the Logistics Officer in the preparation and reports.
Ensuring the UNICEF minimum standards of logistics policies and procedures are adhered to within the project, briefing and training of all relevant staff and/or partners as required.
Supervising staff and distributing duties and prepare the permissions and the necessary documents for the movement of the drivers.
Ensuring the validity of log-books, road licenses and insurances, and facilitate the monthly revision of vehicle log-books.
Acts as the custodian of car keys and car documents.
Managing, Coordinating, Supervising, Planning, Monitoring, analyzing and Supporting all the logistics activities and the other managements if require due to the organization procedures.
Directing and managing all logistic staff and subordinates.
Ensuring that all appropriate documentation is kept on file and available for inspection at all times.
Managing, ensuring Preparing and process for travel request for the all team members of national and international, (issuing, purchasing Tickets) all the booking for International flights, domestic flights, Yemenia Charter, and hotel accommodations in Yemen and outside Yemen.
Ensuring the timely procurement of goods and non-professional services utilizing bids and competitive sealed proposals in accordance with city procurement policies and all local laws policies and procedures
Air freight, Sea freight and Customer clearance then transferring the materials to recipient department or to the sites.
Ensuring, monitoring and maintaining all relevant INFO of the shipment From/To Yemen (quotations / proposals, contracts, payment, freights, etc.……).
Using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Supply Chain System.
Using Onyx ERP Solutions System.
May perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Faculty of Commerce & Economics.
