Job Description:
Scope of work is Civil and Electromechanical works (with Value of 450 Million EGP) in Project of Engineering, Supply, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Testing and Warranty of 6 x 500 and 220 kV GIS substations (Consortium with Siemens Egypt)
Responsible for:
Coordination with Siemens Project manager and Project team for technical issues, scope of work, time frame.
Being the main coordination point between the Client, Consultant, Siemens, EETD and subcontractors.
Managing the subcontractors’ negotiation meetings.
Managing the stakeholders to keep the project on track.
Assuring the project is running on schedule and cost approved baselines and Monitoring the GP% of the project.
Setting due dates and milestones to the project team including the subcontractors.
Assigning responsibilities.
Ensuring that all the materials used are per the specifications and has passed the appropriate approval sequence.
Overseeing upon the quality control methods in place.
Resolve unexpected technical and/or managerial problems that may arise.
Following up the Periodic Work Progress for invoicing the client
Following up the Periodic Work Progress for invoicing the subcontractor
Signing the Taking Over Certificate
Following up the progress of the punch list accomplished to the PAC
Signing the FAC after the warranty period and clearing the punch list requirements
Delivering revenue up to 100 Million EGP with on time delivery (OTD) over 95% for 2015 including local and export projects in Iraq, Ivory Coast and Kuwait.
Responsible for completion of the project on time, on specs, as agreed, on budget and controlling the GP% through coordinating all resources and suppliers; developing the risk plan, setting due dates; assigning responsibilities; monitoring, and by the end of the project responsible for the documentation and referencing.
Projects: NGL plant (Zeit bay - Customer EBGDCo) -
on shore pumping station (south Sinai Customer GUPCO) - anti pollution station (south Sinai -
Customer Petrobel)
Responsible for:
Being the main technical advisor to subcontractors, labors and technicians.
Checking drawings, plans, and other qualities to get an accurate calculation of the whole thing.
Ensuring that all the materials used are according to the specifications.
Overseeing the requisition and selection of the materials.
Agreeing to the material distributors on the set prices and take cost effective measures.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the design of the contract documents that has been supplied to them, to be able to make the monthly financial invoice.
Managing the site on a day to day basis that includes supervising and monitoring the labor force and that of the sub-contractors.
Overseeing upon the quality control methods in place.
Resolve unexpected technical problems that may arise.
Making the required tests for the done work (Calibration of instruments, Megger and Continuity test for Cables …etc).
Issuing the Release form for Handing over the site to the Owner.
Making the Marked-up Drawings and the As-Built Drawings.
Responsible for offering, bidding, and prequalification’s files in the offering Stage.
