Implementation of Solid Waste Management in accordance with the ACTED SOPs including the direct supervision of 11 site supervisors and the overall supervision of 300 workers.
•Liaise and coordinate project aspects and strategic planning with the UN organizations and NGOs, also with municipalities and other governmental entities such as the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture.
•Supervise and monitor the quality of work of contractors involved in solid waste management activities.
•Produce daily, weekly monthly, quarterly and annual ad-hoc and progressive reports, including timely submittal of these reports to the Line Manager, HQ and Donors.
•Update and review project plans including time schedules and benchmarks.
•Participate in the initiation of partnership with local municipalities.
•Conduct weekly meetings with staff and contractors, and attend coordination meetings with the UN organizations, governmental entities and NGOs.
•Provide services and support to the UN organizations and implementing partners.
•Participate in hiring staff and contractors, in addition to the preparation of Scope of Works and Terms of Reference, also issuing performance evaluation reports.
•Support the procurement and logistic unit in the preparation of tender documents, technical and financial evaluations.
•Clarify technical matters to supervisors, staff and contractors whenever needed.
•Ensuring proper and timely documentation of SWM project aspects.
•Focal point for all communications related to the department.
•Maintain good relations with all stakeholders.

Dealing with incidents of inappropriate behavior and intervening quickly where possible to prevent further incidents.
•Implementing the School Code of Conduct.
•Implementing the School Policies on Equal Opportunities, Anti-Bullying, Child Protection and Behavior and reporting any concerns to the Senior Student Supervisor.
•Monitoring the security of the pupils and staff, reporting any concerns immediately.
