i'm in charge of technical & commercial aspects related to thiochemicals sales to refineries including Arkema Carelflex services.
I supervises Carelflex technicians deployed to Middle East & India.
Main duties are:
- Visit regularly main customers. maintains old references and develop new customers in the area
- Listen to potential customers and prospects, and initiates contacts with them.
- Visit high potential customers to promote our products and services.
- Prepare sales forecast for product and service.
- Establish market analysis and perform regular benchmarking on competition.
- Inform Global Business Managers and Sales Director at HQ through regular reporting on market evolution
- Supervise the sales process from the order till delivery of the products and payment at due date
- Create a database competitive landscape (demand, strength & weaknesses of competition, price benchmark, …)
- Follow-up with the local sales assistant their client’s payment’s processes
Carelflex
- Middle-East & India Carelflex team leader: manages a team covering ME and India to promote and perform
Carelflex service, in charge to set an action plan for team members in order to sell, improve & perform the sulfiding operations in Middle-East & India mainly with some punctual operations outside the area. supervises the technical & commercial offers to customers and the maintenance and handling, storage and expedition of the equipment.
1. Monitoring performance of plants and facilities.
2. Preparing daily performance summary and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities.
3. Coordinates with Operations to conduct Test Runs, tests new chemicals and implements changes in plant operations.
4. Provides functional assistance to various plant personnel in test-checking alternatives, diagnosing process and corrosion problems, and preparing technical specifications of operating chemicals and materials.
5. Prepares data for new projects and major revamps.
6. Follows up on detailed engineering of new projects, checks design calculations, engineering drawings and specifications and makes comments as appropriate.
7. Participates in the identification of possible solutions in process problem areas includes analyzing operating reports and discussing problem items with the department concerned.
8. Participates in HAZOP and HAZAN studies pertaining to proposed modifications, including identifying potential operational and safety related problems and coordinating appropriate solutions.
Main Duties summarized as follows: 1. Improving the performance of process units by submitting several calculations including mass & energy balances, equipment sizing…etc. 2. Troubleshooting the process units by analyzing data, doing the required lab tests to reveal the root cause for any failure occurred. 3. Preparation of chemicals specifications and participate in tendering evaluation. 4. Correspondence with international and local companies for auditing services for new projects and supplying the refinery with new technologies.
