Authorized by Dubai Courts, we are responsible for working on litigations as per the Code of Civil Procedure and Executive Regulations/bylaws thereof at the Court of First Instance and the Appellate Court. Besides Labor, Civil, and Commercial, I was able to acquire control of Personal Status and Inheritances registrations, inquiries, and follow-up in the first 3 months, working on registrations since day one.
• Provide specialist legal and procedural advice to ensure that Alshaya Enterprises (AE) acts within its statutory and regulatory obligations;
• Advise on issues potentially giving rise to litigation, provide legal advice, and manage litigation cases at administrative and judicial level, as well as representing AE before domestic law firms and ministries;
• Contribute to the identification, assessment, and management of potential risks associated with AE legal, procurement, and contract management activities;
• Follow up on contract implementation and performance throughout the lifecycle of contracts;
• Provide legal advice and support the interfaces with key stakeholders (e.g. Administrative Board, Board of Directors);
• Provide support when requested, in leading and coordinating specific areas, practices, projects, and teams;
• Assist with the management of external support or advisers;
• Contribute to the preparation and development of internal rules and procedures, as well as high-level document management.
Draft and solidify agreements and other legal documents to ensure that legal risk is covered. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations including data privacy, central bank, labor, and corporate laws in Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt, and KSA. Manage domestic and international law firms as regards incorporation.
Obligated to maintain corporate documentation and to review various kinds of legal documents, as well as drafting legal documents and correspondences. Handling legal translation, and administrative support to the Department in coordination with Finance, Legal Assistants and Executives, authorized signatories, and Law Firms. Handling online applications with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice and following up until completion concerning incorporation, licenses renewals, amendments to the articles of association, and POAs; to keep the corporation up and running without prejudice to the applicable laws in each jurisdiction.
obligated to review various kinds of contracts (Memorandums of Association, Articles of Amendment, Internet Services Agreements, Legal Services Agreements, Insurance Policies, Lease Agreements, Maintenance Services Agreements) concluded with third parties from a legal point of view (legal aspects) after fulfillment of the technical aspect by specialists in every field, in coordination with corporate law firms in Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Oman as regards to restructuring the group of companies and establishing new companies in Kuwait and MENA region.
• Handling Collective data of the Firm (Documentation).
• Handling correspondences with international Law firms, agents, and clients internationally and locally.
• Textual Legal & General translation, besides simultaneous translation in business meetings.
• Issuing invoices related to the international division and following up till payment in coordination with accountants.
• Managing consultative and translation tasks among the team, proofreading, and following up till completion.
• Participating in business development, online marketing, and promotion through building a marketing database and communicating with potential clients via E-mail.
• Preparing and editing quotations and Legal and collection services agreements.
