• Coordinate the various aspects of the process engineering, including design, planning and development;
• Provide guidance, support and act as direct resource to the team undertaking the operational team
• Undertake scoping study level trade-off evaluations of process alternatives:
• Assist in the development of processing plans, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, cost analysis and other areas as appropriate;
• Review design, management and interpretation of mineralogy studies, aimed at understanding the ore types present and the interaction of the ore types with processing performance;
• Design, manage and interpret bench-scale laboratory experiments aimed at understanding the mineral dressing characteristics of ores of rare metals, including rare earths;
• Design, manage and interpret bench-scale laboratory experiments aimed at understanding the hydrometallurgical processing of ores of rare metals, including rare earths and rare earth separation plants;
• Critical review of reports prepared by contract metallurgical laboratories;
• Search literature and assimilate information generated by others with the aim of solving relevant metallurgical issues;
• Provide specialist technical input into team project work;
• Provide input and evaluation into recovery estimates;
• Act as the process lead on studies and projects;
• Develop or bring forward, as appropriate, industry best practices and new technologies;
• Oversee the development and maintenance of long and short term processing plans, processing designs and input.
• Prepare and review project proposals, studies and technical reports;
• Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations;
• Manage Metallurgical Laboratory, Expect in Metallurgical Accounting, metallurgical Reconciliation procedures and also ensure that both Daily, weekly and monthly reporting procedures are conducted.
• Responsible for the day to day quality control procedures from the Assay Laboratory.
• Manage the Water Treatment plant of Sukari Gold mine.
• Responsible for all Test works and Technical report writing.
• Manage the Antiscalent Blending Plant and responsible for the proper monitoring of its efficiency at the various dosing points.
• Liaise with the Pant Metallurgist to investigate any abnormality pertaining to the Plant from (Crushing, Milling, Cyclones, CIL, Elution and Thickening Circuits design appropriate test work to validate the kind of problem we are going through.
I start working with them during finishing construction and I helped them in mill installation and starting up and commissioning for a whole plant and then start working with metallurgy department that responsible for doing several things like the following:
•To assist in the technical aspect of mill operations with the aim of enhancing mill performance in terms of safety, production, and cost management.
•Liaises with Mill Operations, Assay Laboratory and Mill Maintenance Where required, equipment vendors and reagent suppliers
•Assist where required in the commissioning of new plant and equipment
Report and explain production shortfalls as required.
•Adhere to industry best standards for safety, environmental, project management, process systems, metal accounting, plant operations, and trouble shooting.
• Chemical analysis for ingredients of water (Raw water, In process and Final product) by Titration, spectrophotometer instruments and Electrometer.
• Raw materials inspection.
• Detecting and writing Reports about any problems may be occurred.
• Diploma in "Physiology & Biochemistry" (Medical analysis) [Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University] [2006-2007] - Grade: very good
• Bachelor of science in special chemistry [B. Sc] (2003-2006) • Chemistry department, faculty of science, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. • Grade: very good (75.63%) May 2006.
