Responsibilities:
• Have end to end responsibility of projects tendering including the following key points
-Receiving the client invitation
-Attending Job Explanation Meeting
-Attending site visit for UGC Projects.
-Sending pre-bid clarifications to the client.
-Replay to client enquiries with post-bid clarifications
-Calculate BOQ for all the required materials for the project such as pricing the cables, joints, civil works
-Have good contact with all the members of the field inside and outside kingdom.
-Create the project budget
- Perform all the required design/ drawing for the project similar as key plan, schematic, .......
- Giving the decision maker recommendations of the market situation to guide him to be
a reference in future biddings and profit percentage.
-Analyzing the other competitors in the field to be guide for the decision taker.
•Monitoring and supervising the project along with total work stages starting from
Engineering & Design, procurement & inspection of materials, construction &
installation, Testing & Commissioning.
•Continuous follow up on all project stages, to meet time plans & delivery schedules.
•Procurement of materials needed for the project (Power cables & its accessories, Fiber
Optic Cables & its accessories… etc", PVC & HDPE Pipes, HDD Services, Civil
Subcontracting for the Projects, .etc).
•Responsibility for the technical integrity of the supplied equipment.
•Overall responsible for contractual progress, quality and HSE Compliance on site.
•Ensure that the Quality Plan is regularly reviewed, kept up to date and implemented.
•Establish and maintain a direct line of communication to the Quality Engineer.
•Be familiar with the requirements of the relevant local legislation and the quality Plan.
•Ensure that all senior site staff is conversant with the relevant requirements of current
Legislation and the Quality Plan and that all are assigned appropriate duties and
responsibilities to assist in its effective implementation.
•Ensure that all Sub-Contractors are conversant with, receive a copy of and fully comply
with the Quality Plan.
•Monitor the site operations to ensure they are conducted in accordance with the Quality
Plan and take urgent and appropriate action to stop or prevent non-conforming
practices.
Responsibilities :
• Electrical routine test for the low, medium, high and extra high voltage cables.
• Electrical type test for the low, medium, high and extra high voltage cables.
• Carry out the routine test for a 1x2500mm2 400 kV cable which manufactured for the first time in the Middle East.
• One of the team which get the ISO 17025 accreditation for Elsewedy Cables Lab (EGAC)
• Routine test for the Optical fiber cables and OPGW.
• Make ITP (Inspection Test Plan).
• Improve the Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Reliability.
• Improve Quality and defect reduction.
• Customers and/or third party inspections
• Waste Elimination.
• Issue test certificates and type test reports
• Visual inspection for all the cable types (LV, MV, HV, EHV and OPGW)
• Quality Control of Cables manufacture and Quality fundamentals of cables manufacturing.
• The Quality of the outgoing samples to the sales department plus getting the customers a friendly reception and satisfying their needs which we call Customer Delegation (customer satisfaction survey) is also one of my responsibilities.
