Basic Function & Scope

Plans, manage and participate in the provision of a full range of legal, corporate affairs and contractual services in the Company. Including without limitation:
1- Providing a wide range of legal services relating to disputes and court matters as counsel representing the Company before courts, legal committees, labour offices, arbitral tribunals and other judicial bodies.

7-Liaise with external lawyers representing the company and ensure they are well prepared and supported to act in the best interest of the Company.
8- Conduct and participate in investigations related to violations committed by employees and recommend appropriate disciplinary action.
9- Keep abreast the Company management on laws and regulations promulgated in the State of Sudan and to take proactive measures in ensuring compliance with legal developments.
10- Advise the company on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters including identifying areas of risk and making suggestions for improvement.
11- Monitoring possible areas of compliance risk and suggesting implementation of corrective actions plans for the resolution of current and potential problems.
12- Keep custody of all original legal documents including but not limited to contracts, agreements, MoU's, etc.
13- Participating and assists in the corporate affairs such as Board & Shareholders affairs and corporate issues..
14- Keep custody of all Board, General Assembly and Management Committee documents including share register and share certificates.
