• Provide technical support to VMware customers to resolve issues relating to system operations, faults.
• Respond to customer inquiries, primarily by telephone, E-mail, Zoom, and Webex.
• Diagnoses the software, hardware, and environment/infrastructure issues.
• Provide Fault cause analysis for resolved issues at the customer's requests.
• Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for the Knowledge Base.
• Manage VAS (value-added service) for "WE" mobile operator
• (SMSC, USSD, Call Filter, Missed Call Notification, End of service Notification, MMSC, Voice SMS, Automatic Device Management, RBT)
• Responsible to handle all Issues escalated form L2 related to VAS systems Like OS, cluster, DB and application
• Couch and provide technical guidance for team members
• Responsible for design and apply acceptance test for new systems
• Handling issues & critical alarms escalated from 1st line related to VAS nodes (USSD, SDP, Call
Filtration, Call Collect, Please Call Me(PCM), EOSN, Promos, Dexter & PPG )
• Responsible for acceptance test for new services
• Vendor Management
• Develop methods to automate VAS nodes in order to improve system reliability
• Effective contribution in the vendor selection process for the new services
• Handling customer requests related to VAS (Value Added Services) products especially Data Service products which includes SMSC, MMSC, USSD, ......
• Specialist in supporting Huawei SMSC product including MT Server, SMSBI, WAD
• Knowledge in Huawei USAU6600 Signaling Access Gateway to connect Huawei SMSC with the Core Network.
• Supports OSS Huawei I2000 Software.
• Orange Tunis VAS Cloud project commissioning and migration for SMSC and USAU
• Providing support for the OS hosting Huawei applications especially SuSE Linux and Oracle Solaris.
• Providing support for the DB of Huawei applications mainly Oracle Database.
• Providing support for the two-node cluster software mainly Veritas Cluster Server.
• Good knowledge in Signaling System No.7 (SS7).
• Service Trouble-shooting and CDR analysis.
• Provide remote support operations for Huawei Telecom Customers over Africa and Middle East to ensure availability of applications as per SLA.
• Participated in constructing Egypt TAC - A&S Team test environment including ATAE and OceanStor Storage installation and successfully constructed SMSC test environment.
-Performs activities related to implementation, maintenance and support of SUN Solaris platform and systems
-Provide system administration for critical servers
-Install software, manage file systems and monitor performance
-System failure analysis and recovery
-Handling customer requests related to the job responsibilities
-Troubleshooting any errors related to the servers HW and any operating system issues
