Project Title: Chanterelle Mushroom Distribution Analysis Using Machine Learning Type: Freelance Academic Collaboration & Senior Bachelor Project Role: Data Analyst Duration: 2024–2025 Description: Led a data science project analyzing the geographical distribution of chanterelle mushrooms in Värmland, Sweden, in collaboration with a Master’s student in Data Science. The project also served as my Bachelor’s degree senior project at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ). Collected, cleaned, and structured environmental and satellite data for analysis. Applied machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and geospatial methods to identify patterns in mushroom distribution. Built data visualizations and interpreted results to generate actionable insights. Focused on real-world environmental data, using tools like Python, QGIS, and mathematical modeling. Delivered findings through comprehensive visual dashboards and written reports. Achievements: 🎓 Received 93/100 as the final senior project grade at USJ. Ranked 3rd among all Bachelor’s degree projects at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Project was also submitted by the collaborating student in Sweden and earned a full grade (100/100) and was ranked 1st among all Master’s degree projects at their university. Recognized for innovation, research accuracy, and practical value in environmental and AI-driven data science.
