• Receive Purchase Requisitions from all company departments and branches and make sure that they are approved from HOD before processing them.
• Communicate with approved suppliers to get the best offers for services, consumables, and Fixed Assets as per the specifications provided by requestors.
• Review and Negotiate suppliers quotes on basis of Quality, Prices, Payment, and Delivery terms.
• Follow up internally to get PO fully released from all levels .
• Sending purchase orders to Local& Foreign suppliers and follow up with them to get the delivery or expected readiness date of goods and update it on the system.
• Follow up with foreign suppliers to confirm the Shipping documents drafts and to send all original documents by courier before shipment Arrival date to avoid any clearance delay.
• Coordinate with Clearance Dept. for Shipments delivery to correct WH. location.
• Ensure that all received orders invoices are sent to accounts Payable for payments process.
• Searching continuously for New Local and Foreign resources for company goods and services.

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Tracking and coordinating the, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments

• Participating with the sales team to forecast the expected demand month after month.
• Working order management for three branches (Arkan in Egypt, Sitec in Dubai, and Arkan in KSA)
• Create the SO after taking confirmation from the sales team and sending it to customers.
• Send to suppliers to get the best price and availability for items, then send PO after finishing all negotiations about the purchasing process
• Ask the supplier to send all documents to get approval from NTRA.
• Agreed upon incoterms with the freight forwarder, booked the flight for shipment then added tracking link on the CRM system for every deal.
• Follow up with the clearance team and collocation to receive the shipment from Airport and deliver it to the warehouse.
• Coordination of shipments of the Emirates (Sitec Information Technology) and Saudi (Arkan Integrated Solutions) branches.
• Work to reduce the time of shipments and coordinate with the customs of countries to avoid errors.
• Register on the Saudi Saber platforms to obtain the necessary import approvals .

• Analyze supply chain data to ensure that inventory is uninterrupted. Receiving, checking, and arranging spare parts coming from China for distribution to the rest of the branches.

Corresponding with suppliers for quotations, preparing purchase orders and performing
buying duties .

We visited the factory and saw the production cycle. We then visited the distribution centers, and they explained how the chain of the distribution was operated.

Worked and saw all the Purchasing and Warehousing process, and how to make the inventory list, and how to make a purchasing order.

During the internship we visited the planning department and they explained how they do it, and then visited the warehouses where the cable rolls are stored and how they are moved around.

Training on clearing goods at customs for export or import, and this requires preparing documents for goods and facilitating communication between the importer and supplier and the tax authority .
