relevant management information (MI), including Tax Sales
Credit, revenue attribution/sharing by Line of Business (LoB),
and cost recharge reporting.

I am currently a Financial Controller Manager at HSBC Algeria. My role includes Central Bank reporting, financial statements preparation and Product Control activities. My tasks involve general ledger accounts & Nostros reconciliation, accruals & fixed assets management as well as finance project management (i.e.IFRS9 implemenatation). My team and I prepare RWAs for the local regulatory body. I use IR-Hyperion, HUB and Finance systems efficiently on a daily basis.
My team and I prepare the bank’s periodic reporting including P&L and Balance Sheet, MI’s and trend analysis to both local Central Bank and HSBC regional reporting teams.

• Finance partner to the SSV business, supporting its growth
agenda and providing end-to-end finance support across
forecasting, target setting, business insights, and analysis.

• Deliver Central Bank regulatory reporting and support the
preparation of financial statements, alongside Product Control
activities (e.g., FX position monitoring).
• Manage general ledger and Nostro account reconciliations,
process monthly accruals, and oversee fixed asset control.

initiatives, including IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
• Partner with team to prepare RWA submissions for the local

Financial Controller Officer: My tasks included end of month accounting entries and reconciliation, accounts justification, monthly accruals, FX rates system upload, standardization and streamlining processes, coordination with GFC team, and assisting manager with various projects implementation.
