• Contributed as ABB Field Service Engineer to the commissioning of drive systems for a new sugar refinery in Boumerdès
(client: TAFADIS), supporting system integration, configuration, and functional testing.
• Upgraded and integrated control systems for the El Kerma wastewater treatment plant, including restoring fiber optic and
PROFIBUS communication, troubleshooting Siemens S7-300 and S7-400 PLCs, and modifying control logic and PLC routines
using STEP 7 to resolve faults, optimize automation sequences, and ensure system reliability.
• Installed and commissioned 8 submersible pumps as part of a separate pumping station project, including electrical
integration, control configuration, and operational testing.
• Designed EPLAN schematics for a 4‑pump (45kW) station using ABB soft starters and Siemens S7‑1200 PLC and on‑site wiring.
• Installed and commissioned a 200kW ABB ACS580 VFD for an AtlasCopco air compressor, performing drive setup, and
performance validation.
• Installed and commissioned 12 ABB ACS580 (250kW) VFDs for Oxygen injection motors, including wiring, parameter
configuration, and functional testing.
• Diagnosed and resolved a thyristor malfunction on a 315kW / 700V ABB PSTX soft starter, restoring reliable motor start‑up
and minimizing downtime.

Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on various packaging machines across Unilever Algeria’s production lines
to minimize downtime and maintain high equipment availability.
• Installed and commissioned Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) to improve energy
efficiency and system stability.
• Participated in digitalization projects to modernize packaging machine controls and integrate new automation functionalities
into existing infrastructure.
• Conducted logic upgrades and troubleshooting using Allen Bradley PLCs and InTouch SCADA, enhancing system
responsiveness and aligning process behavior with evolving client requirements.
• Diagnosed and resolved automation faults by troubleshooting Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, optimizing ladder logic, and
ensuring smooth control system operation.
• Oversaw the study, installation, and commissioning of an electrical dosing system, ensuring its full integration with the main
process PLC for reliable dosing control.
• Participated in the maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting of a shuttler packaging robot, responsible for palletizing and
organizing finished goods at the end of the production line.
• Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on three 160kVA UPS systems for client Renault, including full battery
testing and replacement, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
• Revived a non-functional profiling machine for an industrial client by assessing its condition, proposing both manual and
automated solutions, and implementing a cost-effective manual operation.
