- Managing the Cost Estimation work team to process and accomplishment of daily
business tasks related to estimation of capital projects cost (CAPEX) and operational & maintenance programs cost (OPEX) for the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu-RCJY in the industrial cities (Jubail & Ras Al-Khair).
- Coordinating the daily operational works with other interfered departments and provide cooperation & support to the others offices (RCJY in Jubail Industrial City, RCJY in Yanbu Industrial City and RCJY Head Quarter in Riyadh) as Shared Services Centre-SSC.
- Developing the Management Procedures (MP) related to the Cost Estimation Department
responsibilities, in integration with other Departments Management Procedures within RCJY organization.
- Work within as a work team in the RCJY cities (Jubail, Yanbu & Riyadh) to standardize and unify
Management Procedures (MP), approve them, and generalize them for the Cost Estimation Department to all RCJY cities.
- Adopting the business development ideas suggested / presented by the subordinate colleagues in Cost Estimation Department and encourages, presenting & supporting them to the higher
management.
- Presenting and reporting Cost Estimation Department achievements and propose suggestions and recommendations to top management.
- Implement the directives of the top management to achieve the approved annual business plans
operational process.
- Developing the skills and capabilities of subordinates colleagues and bring knowledge by enrolling them in appropriate training and development programs in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department.
- Cooperating with work teams; IT, Crisis and Disaster, Safety & Security and HR to manage and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on daily operational business processing, in order to maintain a continuation level of productivity and integration with other departments and departments.
- Keeping up with the RCJY Master Business Plans and concurred initiatives aligning with the goals and mega targets of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2030 vision) which the RCJY plays a big roles in, through implementing strategic plans and achieving its objectives in all aspects (strategic planning- studying interferences- implementation plans- measuring performance- reviewing the outputs- evaluating the benefits outputs).
- Coordination and Reviewing with BECHTEL which is the professional global consulting expertise company contracted by RCJY as PROGRAM MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATIOR if it's huge projects in terms of master planning, strategies, operational business work plans/ implementation, also in providing technical consultation, and ensuring the quality of projects engineering in accordance with RCJY codes & standards. Also to cary the supervion responsibilities for on-going projects (all under
construction projects)
- An assigned member in charge of a work team to find and furnished facilities to shelter and isolate the infected person by COVID-19 pandemic and provide integrated services and complete care for them.
- Supervising tasks of cost estimating processing by colleagues who do it daily for capital projects (CAPEX) and cost of operation / maintenance programs (OPEX). Also, auditing, reviewing and reporting.
- Scheduling a daily tasks, distributing them to colleagues/specialists, following-up achievement levels to targeted standard duration, and provide solutions to the involved colleagues/specialists.
- Regularly updating and reviewing price databases based on the latest inflation and raw material
sources affecting the unit cost price in the market.
- Preparing the annual operational business plan to meet the dramatically changes and the Cost
Estimating Department needs, reviewing them, discussing them with director, presenting them to the top management.
- Preparing thecost estimation for capital projects (CAPEX) for the RCJY in the both
industrial cities (Jubail and Ras Al-Khair) to constructs the infrastructure development,
facilities, and service buildings of various uses… etc. through usage a various estimation bases; tools, techniques and parameters to cost the measured item lines individually and over-all capital project cost, the contracts types of lump sum, admeasure, cost reimbursable
and target cost.
- Also, preparing the estimation costs for operation and maintenance contracts (OPEX) for the facilities in both cities (Jubail and Yanbu) in bases of man-hour bases, cost reimbursable ….. etc.
- Preparing the rental costs for the facilities which furnished by RCJY to be used by the parties that
provide support and logistical services in the both industrial cities (Jubal and Ras Al-Khair), taking in
consideration to ensure the recovery of the capital costs spent on construction of those facilities.
I acted as Architect Engineer to supervise the under construction buildings/utilities (architectural /Civil works) that refer to directorate of water, also reviewing & commenting the design during engineering phases to rectify/improve projects design ( in coordination with involved consultation firms A/E).
The responsibilities carried out were:
- Architectural ideas creating.
- Taking as built dimensions and preparing scaled drawings to be applicable for interior design purposes and architectural elements manufacturing proceeding.
- Checking discrepancies between Electrical, Civil and Architectural layouts and Details.
- Preparing a roughly electrical & structural design layout enhancing the architectural concept ideas.
- Coordinating between architectural division & all other disciplines / structural, electrical, AC,
telecommunication, etc. by revolving the design through related divisions (check-office rotation).
- Finalizing architectural shop dwgs layout and presentation.
- Reporting management weekly.
Project : Khurais- Civil work of Crude facilities Contract (KCC) part of Khurais Central Processing Facilities (KCPF). Khurais/KSA.
Acted as a Field Civil Engineer to manage, control and track various civil works progresses on-site, aligning, achieving them with schedule through following terminologies:
* A. Oversee the concrete works for foundations, footing, curbs, walls, manholes, and anchor/thrust block…etc. construction stages as per drawings, specifications & design requirements (starting by natural or cut rock elevation/compacted sub-grade, polyethylene sheet, lean concrete, form work, reinforcing/bars steel fixing, concrete pouring, curing painting …etc) and inspect each part of works by QC inspectors. In addition, checking drawing to estimate and quantify reinforcement steel (types & quantities) and coordinate with
steel workshop engineer to cut, bend & prepare the required reinforcement steel Qty. And with ready
concrete mix purchaser to order/purchase the required RC Qty. earlier soon as possible in suitable time.
* B. Supervise the earth works (rock cutting/sand excavation and compacting/backfilling required material quantity and type: rock, marl, soil…etc.).
For above (A+B) the following actions were done by me :
- Checking drawings, specifications & requirements to request material early with coordination with
others to arrange for required equipment /materials/tools…etc.
- Considering the surveying issues for all works through coordination with skilled surveyors to provide the correct reports that help to complete works perfectly.
- Preparing the works for QC inspectors and making internal request for inspection (RFI) through our QC department to get the final approval and proceed the work completion.
- Considering the requirements to meet high standards of ARAMCO through Full corporation with their inspectors in every part of civil work and considering the safety priorities. Make daily/ weekly civil works progress reports for material types and quantities, manpower, equipment's…etc. and report it to the construction manager.
Project : Khursaniyah-Khursaniyah Industrial Support Facilities (KISF), 516000m² Project area. It consists of various purposes building and facilities with two mainly construction types: precast concrete & steel works. Khursaniyah/KSA.
I hold a position as architectural IFC shop drawings, materials, specifications coordinator (TO
COORDINATE WITH CLIENT & PROJECT ARCHITECTURAL MATERIAL SUPPLIERS
/VENDORS) for all manufactured architectural materials, finishes for floors, walls, interlocking
paving works…etc. In terms that mentions as follow:
- Reviewing all design IFC drawings and technical documents related to all trades.
- Validating B.O.Q, material Specifications SPCS, prepare of needed material Purchase Request PR and follow up issuing of Purchase Order PO.
- Tracking discrepancies and issuing contractor's queries to consultant -Saudi Aramco Project
Management Team- SAPMT, handle client change order and advise/suggest operational design to
client to be useful after client approval if.
- Coordinateing with suppliers to provide technical drawing & material samples and co-ordinate with our QA/QC Engineer to ensure that material as per Aramco standards then prepare and present submittal to SAPMT for approval.
- Reviewing and ensuring that there is no discrepancy in all architectural, structural drawings and all other disciplines.
- Conduct close coordination with construction team and support them with all needed technical
backup that might be required during the execution phase & prepare all finishing, decoration work drawing details and informations
- Supervising and monitoring architectural site work execution on daily to ensure execution going in compliance with design & specs, that works under suppliers/contractors or our scopes with full
coordination with client to inspect & ensure that works are carried out to specific standards and if any problems arise are quickly resolved.
- Follow-up on as-built drawings preparation for insulted architectural and civil.
I Hold Job AS TRAINEE STUDENT, was applictive It was applicative training to earns experience in
field of estimating the cost of Aramco employee's accommodation units & materials which
are need to their houses execution, inspecting the unit's construction stages and studying the
amount of payments that Aramco should pay to employee.
It was a five years education in Architecture and related courses.
