Once rates are confirmed, contact with the consignee and request for necessary authorizations and paper works from the consignee for the clearance.
Co-ordination with Shipping Line to obtain delivery order and proceeding with file preparation for clearance.
Escalate issues if any to agents as well as consignee during course of clearance.
Once job has been successfully completed, inform agent, scan invoice and POD.
Follow-up for payment with agent as well as consignee based on the terms - DDU/DDP.
LUFTHANSA AIR FREIGHT CLERANCE.
Receive pre-alerts from client.
Prepare files with translation/ segregation.
Hand over docs to the broker and co-ordinate for clearance.
Mostly shipments will be AOG and pass the message to Custom Broker as per the request of the Client.
Prepare invoice and make follow-up for payment from the client.
REGULAR SEA FREIGHT CONSIGNMENTS
Business correspondence.
Handling more than 500 Containers per Month & preparing cheque for clearance purposes under Kanoo own banking
Co-ordinate with shipping agencies regarding the vessels arrival and also combined shipments from various ports.
Co-ordinate with Customs clearing agents in clearing goods for the related parties.
Timely Co-ordinate with Customs Broker regarding the status of the shipments and update the Customer.
Sort out the issues by using appropriate methods.
Handling Customer care services, Uses appropriate methods to effectively organize own workload & maintain required progress against individual and team targets.
