Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer(CFO), being the Senior Manager Finance, I am responsible for overseeing of all finance, accounting and reporting activities, involved in supporting presentations to the board’s finance and audit committees and work closely with the senior leadership team.
Activities and Tasks
• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting
systems ensuring compliance with
appropriate International Accounting Standards
and regulatory requirements;
• Maintaining internal control and safeguards for
receipt of revenue, costs, and
company budgets and actual expenditures;
• Coordinating all audit activity;
• Consistently analyzing of financial data and
presenting financial reports in an accurate
and timely manner; clearly communicate
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements; monitor progress, changes and keep
senior leadership abreast of the
financial status;
• Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and
planning process; administering and
reviewing all financial plans and comparing to
actual results with a view to identifying,
explaining and correcting variances as
appropriate;
• Supporting the CFO in engaging the board’s audit
and finance committees around
issues and trends in financial operating models
and delivery;
• Overseeing all financial, company accounting;
ensuring that
expenditures are consistently aligned with company budgets throughout
the revenue period; collating financial
reporting materials for government,
corporate, and investors;
• Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by
working in partnership with the
Company Department Heads; collaborating with
Company Department Heads to assess the financial
efficacy of company operations and establish
finance and administrative systems to
support company operations;
• Managing and tracking the performance of
invested assets, in alignment with the
policies and investment guidelines;
• Leveraging strengths of the finance team
members; providing clarity on the roles and
responsibilities; developing and implementing
training programs to maximize and
help them reach optimal individual and
organizational goals;
• Providing leadership in strengthening internal
communications with staff at all levels
throughout the organization; creating and
promoting a positive and supportive work
environment.
Incharge of managing and supporting the ledger team.
Providing accurate financial information to colleagues and CFO.
Check and finalize financial reports and ensure that these are in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Identifying the areas of cost cutting & improvements and perform the cost control activities.
Carryout the investment feasibility study / analysis and submit to high level management.
Assist top management in enhancing the business by properly managing capital of organization.
Identify proper hedging instrument amongst stocks, exchange-traded funds, insurance, forward contracts, futures contracts, swaps, options, over-the-counter transactions and other derivative products.
Prepare the yearly budgets with month wise breakup on regular basis.
Monitor and review daily financial transactions of organization.
Generate income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and other financial reports.
Followup and coordinate with Sales department & recovery department to get the payments recover from customers in order to maintain liquidity of organization.
Follow up with Banks for financial transactions and obtain credit facilities.
Ensure efficient flow of capital and proper use of capital.
Ensures that Senior Managers of other departments understand the financial implications of the missions they set for the company in mission statement of organization.
Mentors and supports Accounts/Finance team for purpose of ensuring that their accounting and analysis duties are done accurately.
Manages and controls the financial operations of the various divisions and departments of Company to ensure compliance to international accounting standards (IAS), company policies and protocol and contractual requirements.
Prepare complex reports for managed care organizations and insurance companies, ensuring full compliance with agency requirements and tight deadlines.
Author professional correspondence to customers and vendors.
Monthly Withholding Tax return filling
Monthly Sales Tax & F.E.D. return filing
Annual Income Tax return filling
Pursue audit with FBR & SRB
Book Keeping.
Bank, Debtor & Creditor Account reconciliation.
Recording of Sales & Cost of Sales to operations software.
Preparing monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
Preparing monthly & annual trial balance with logical & analytical reconciliation of each head of account.
Monthly Withholding Tax return filling.
Monthly Sales Tax & F.E.D. return filing.
Preparing professional presentations.
Liaison with stations for accounts related matters.
Reconciliation of inter-branch accounts
Providing accurate financial information to colleagues and Manager Finance.
