Role Summary- Manage the production functions. The management of production is along the principles of quality, cost, and production tonnage and people management.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain proper production plan on the based on sales and logistic requirement by optimizing the operation resources.
Managing the whole operation from raw material receiving till finished goods sending to the ware house including all maintenance issues of the plant & human resources.
Managing and reducing the Factory overhead expenses and cost of goods with consistent volumes, quality, O.E.E. and maximum yield throughout.
Develop employees by continuous training and corrective actions.
Maintain maximum housekeeping standards in line with the 5-S principle & Kaizen.
Develop production initiatives to positively influence the COGS and FOH.
Manage finished product stock levels against confirmed orders for product.
Ensure maintenance focus on top 10 items causing down time & participate in maintenance planning.
Keep accurate production records like waste, final product and downtime.
Maintain records to ensure an accurate mass balance & cost effective labor usage.
Manage and maintain minimum occupational health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
• In-charge of 5 Pasta production lines of 291 MT/Day capacities with 25 teammates. Ensuring optimum utilization of man, m/c & materials and Controlling losses as per agreed norms.
Documentation as per ISO 22000:2005 and periodically audits to its adherence on shop floor.
Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Develop the good working culture and environment and educate the people regarding hygiene, food safety and operational facts of pasta.
Managing and reviewing team resources within their lines to achieve performance targets & departmental objectives and effective communication to focus team working & drive continuous improvement.
Expert in operation/processing of different kind of durum wheat pasta i.e. short Cut, long cut and nest shape in FAVA, BRAIBANTI and PAVAN m/c (Extrusion & Drying technology).
Member of HACCP & Food Safety Management System Team, Pasta Quality Cross Functional Team.
Consult with maintenance personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
Trouble shooting during processing time of pasta and give a scientific inputs for producing the quality oriented product.
Man power planning for the production department.
Monitoring of CCPs, OPRPs & PRPs in the plant & ensuring their full Control.
Training & development of the whole production team regarding SOP, GMP, 5S, one point lesson, Kaizen and personnel safety.
Control and rectify the basic mechanical and PLC issues during processing time.
