Highlights
o Established Q.A. department in NACO in year 2001.
o Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Quality Chain management system (QCMS) plus ISO 2200 (FSSC, BSI - PAS220; 2008) and ISO 9001 systems.
o Performing suppliers and warehouses audit in the GCC region. Total 13 supplier’s audit has been done ( which include 6 supplier audits in Saudi Arabia, 3 in U.A.E.1 in Egypt, 2 in India and 1 in Bahrain. One external warehouse audit (Agility, used by Bahrain plant) has been done in Bahrain.
o Developed quality chain management system in liquid egg supplier (Saudi Arabia) and biscuit external manufacturer GFI (Sharjah- U.A.E) and made them qualify for Mondelez QCMS audit.
o Design and development of statistical process control of existing product as well as new products approved by R&D.
o Participates actively in various plant trial of premium Nabisco Brand.
o Developed specifications and process control parameters for raw material and Finished product (during Nabisco period).
o Organizing and delivering GMP, Sanitation, Statistical Process Control (SPC), HACCP, Allergens, SSMT, Hold & Release, ISO 9001&2200 training to blue and white collar employees from last 15 years.
o Responsible for developing internal auditors, scheduling internal audit and conducting internal audits.
o Responsible for continues Improvement in Quality and operational system.
o Responsible for dealing with SASO (local regulatory body in Saudi Arabia) and other authorities like U.S. Army audits, ISO audits and McDonald’s audit.
o Presenting monthly quality updates in the board of managers meetings chaired by business unit area director held in Dubai and Bahrain.
o Leading quality department by introducing site specific procedures with timely updates as per Kraft’s QPs and local regulatory requirements.
o Generating monthly aging analysis report of finished goods stored as an inventory in finished goods warehouses.
o Running monthly traceablity exercise of raw material and finished products.
o Responsible for handing consumer complaints and implementation of its corrective and preventive actions plans based on nature of complaints.
o Organizing management review meeting with plant manager to discuss continuous quality and process improvement plans.
o Organizing quality circles to resolve repeated problems and challenging task.
o Reviewing monthly quality department’s budget utilization with plant controller.
o Conducted online approvals on rotogrover and flex machines of packaging material with respect to shade and graphics for Oreo (all variant), belVita, Ritz and Price biscuits.
o Contributed in delivering productivity through controlling, over weights, increasing line capacities and optimizing changeovers.
o Lead YoQ (year of quality) program the plant to develop a) quality culture and b)create belief in quality system in regular and temp employees.
