Appointment: HSEQ Engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance with HSE legal, contractual, and industry best practices requirements.
• Monitor contractor emergency preparedness, review emergency plans and monitor emergency drills.
• Review and approval of HSE plans of the Contractor.
• Review and comment on Contractors Risk Assessments and work Method Statements.
• Ensure the strict implementation of the Safety Program of the Client and Consultant.
• Conducting Weekly Safety Meetings attended by the Client/PMC & Contractors HSE and Construction Managers.
• Attending various Construction Progress Meetings as well as Coordination Meetings.
• Leading safety walkthroughs with the Client, PMC & Contractors.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports and other reports as required by the Client/PMC and Project Manager.
• Monitoring accident and incident investigations of Contractors, review and approval of Final Investigation Reports and include in statistics and follow up for the corrective measures.
• Close coordination with client and contractors Safety / other departments.
• Impart safety orientation & training to the site staff & new comers of the Company.
• Monitor & ensure that the Contractors are imparting orientation and training to their employees.
• SITE HSE tours with the Client & Contractors' HSE staff and highlight findings for corrective actions.
• Issue & follow up of Site Instructions and NCR's as per the Company Procedures.
• Compile HSE statistics, including the leading and lagging indicators.
• Reporting the recurrent violations of the Contractors to the attention of the Client during the Weekly Progress Meetings and through letters for the necessary action of the Contractor.
• Liaise with the Client, Contractors and the Site Supervision Team and report status of safety issues.
• Rendering support, Co-ordinate and advice DAR safety team in all safety related issues.
