➢ Played a vital role in handling various Electrical systems & engineering projects, providing leadership, and managing program execution to meet contract and company commitments.
➢ Manage all communication with clients for projects and provide engineering and technical support to clients.
➢ Managing and controlling the Site for execution of Electrical works within limits of Project constraints (cost, Time, quality, resources, and Risk).
➢ Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with the Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective actions.
➢ Managing (Subcontractors, Engineers, Material Suppliers, Material Orders, Material delivery on time, Staff, Manpower, Cash flow, Variations, and Payment preparation).
➢ Responsible for the Implementation of Safety culture at Site Works & Ensuring that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations.
➢ Coordinating and fulfilling the requirements of the Client (Building owner), Main contractor, and Consultants.
➢ Develop detailed project plans and use these as a benchmark to track overall project progress.
➢ Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with the Conditions of the Contract, Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.
➢ Managing budgets in close liaison with the Engineering and Commercial team, assessing financial performance against forecasts on a monthly basis and where to take corrective action to ensure that targets are achieved.
➢ Identify the Change of Scope and Submission of Variation claim to the Client with Necessary supporting Evidence and secure Approvals from the client.
➢Responsible for the preparation of the project execution strategy and guidance to subordinates to ensure that work is carried out as per the execution plan.
➢ Supervise and Execute many projects. Coordinating with the civil team to avoid any project delay and Cost Controlling, Meeting with Clients, Consultants, Suppliers, and Subcontractors to get project targets.
➢ Coordination of communications between the project team, the engineering, and design team members to assure the equality of work, and that consistent technical content drawing/design packages are maintained throughout a project.
➢ Manage and coordinate Multi-discipline Engineering activities on-site to ensure the project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost-effective & timely manner.
➢ Monitored and evaluated the performance of contractors including compliance with contractual requirements, identified & assessed Electrical associated risks, and reported to the senior management with appropriation plans.
➢ Overseeing and professional management of site installations ensuring that all are carried out to high-quality standards and approved installation methods with a focus on achieving the specified targets/milestones.
➢ Reviewing the subcontractors monthly progress report and invoice and deducting the invoices in case of discrepancies in monthly progress and invoices.
➢ Tracking and monitoring the progress of testing and commissioning planned vs. actual and updating management and client on a weekly basis.
➢ Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
Liaising with a vast network of sub-contractors & building/nurturing relationship with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals & obtaining statutory clearances;
Monitoring QA & QC activities which are being carried out effectively and in a timely manner, structuring annual operational budget and implementing control measure to contain expenses within defined limits;
Ensuring the safety procedures are implemented at project and creating safety awareness up-to grass root level of the organization;
Reviewing shop drawings, samples and technical data to verify these are in line with the required specifications of the project and quality parameters;
Carrying out materials planning to ensure material is available within time, analyze rates after going through quotations from suppliers, negotiate with suppliers and issue purchase orders against the most competitive quotations;
Forecast requirement for Electrical Engineering resources and allocate those resources.
Electrical design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.
Site instruction as per schedule and manpower mobilization with assist of planning
Department.
Prepare electrical man-hour estimate to perform project tasks.
Testing and Commissioning of 11KV/415V electrical system.
Technical supervision of project designated electrical designers and draftsmen in the
execution of their duty.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare and review engineering plans, designs and circuit diagrams for projects.
•Execute various projects, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and standards.
•Identify and propose improvements to existing electrical systems.
•Write reports detailing current systems and changes to each site.
•Periodic maintenance - battery testing, relay testing and thermography.
•Estimate cash flow projections for projects.
•Troubleshoot on electrical systems/equipment.
•Manage/coordinate mechanical engineers and software engineers.
•Maintain relationships with crews and contractors.
Achievements:
•Lead project engineer for equipment design and development at 1MW Dindigul Solar Power Plant Project, Tamil Nadu.
•Lead electrical engineer for quality test and repairs at 17MW Solar Power Plant Project, Karnataka (execution only).
•Lead electrical engineer for monitoring and controlling System at 20MW Solar Power Plant Project, Maharastra (design to execution).
•Support electrical engineer for installation and commissioning at 105MW Solar power plant project, Madhya Pradesh (Neemuch).
Electrical & Electronics engineering technology in a 4-year program that leads to a bachelor’s degree . Programs include classroom, laboratory, and field studies. Courses include digital systems design, differential equations, and electrical circuit theory. Cooperative programs combine classroom study with practical work.
This programme is structured to enable me to work theoretically and practically. With a strong basic skills and foundation in electrical & electronic engineering.
