Implementation of site safety plan based on standards.
•Perform safety hazard inspection of construction work lay-down and living areas to ensure their complaints with project safety and fire manuals.
•Discover and determine unsafe conditions and initiate corrective actions directly with workers and supervisors to eliminate safe hazards.
•As a safety 0fficer, functions include the implementation of company’s safety policy as per safety manual- preparing daily safety reports and identifying the causes of accidents and corrective actions to prevent cost of damages.
•Conducting safety activities and training to concerned employees such as first-aid, safety clothing, health hazard prevention, preventive medicines, etc. Also supervising catering of working class and other day to day works related to safety matter.
•Conduct daily routine inspection, servicing, maintenance and record keeping of the system throughout the project.
•Project supervision - inspection, servicing, maintenance and record keeping of the system throughout the project.
•Maintaining record of lifting equipment as per color coding system. Ways to improve existing safety methods in construction of different projects including layout pipeline projects. Inform the Safety Manager for any accident/incident with potential injury consequent.
•Conduct weekly fire drills and refresher’s training course and classes on basic firefighting tactics, pump operation, lay and connect hoses etc.
•Prepare JSA, safety procedures and checking of Equipments and tools.
•Monitoring the high risk activities during the shut-down maintenance of the plant.
