JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management of Payroll Dept. with 8 Senior Payroll Professionals and organize multi-currency Payroll and related activities for more than 5000+ employees for all AECOM Middle East operating regions as well as for international assignees especially from Americas, UK, Australia, Canada and Asia Pacific .
• Custodian of entire Employee Database and Manage centralized payroll Dept for AECOM Middle East and Africa regions, (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Lebanon, Egypt & Ghana) and GBS Manila Offshore. Offshore Centre is implemented in Sep 2019.
• The point of Contact for the national & international payroll service providers and to Management & employees for all payroll matters, Maintain relationships with various Depts and business stakeholders in payroll processes (e.g. Finance/C&B/Global Mobility/Shared Services/HR Team).
• Manage HRIS related implementations, Oracle Enhancements, WORKDAY Cloud upgrades, integration to Oracle and process improvements within the same platform.
• Responsible for compliance both internal and external, across countries for which responsibility is held. eg.Various Policies, SOX Audit requirements, WPS legislations, Tax Compliances, Various Pension Schemes etc
• Process Snr Executive’s confidential payroll ( CEO, CFO etc) and retain the confidentiality.
• Day to day supervision of direct reports, review and verify data accuracy of the tasks performed by the payroll staffs in specific to employee final settlements (EOS), Leave Settlements, Advance Payments, Deferred payments etc. Ensures that computing, withholding, or deductions are associated with net pay is done properly and accurately.
• Responsible for best practices research, recommendations, and implementation
• Establish, maintain and fulfill the internal service level agreements (SLA) for all Payroll activities including monthly Payroll , Final Settlements, Advance Leave process, Employee Mob /Demob payment process etc.
• Conduct WebEx Calls as and when require with other AECOM region’s Payroll Managers /HR/Finance Heads for relevant subjects.
• Perform HRIS Audit, Data Analysis, Review Monthly payroll Variances and Ensure Sox Audit Compliance.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Carried out a successful implementation of H2R & R2R.Implemented different stage gates, Transitioned the Payroll Dept to another AECOM region, managed all the process from CSA till Go Live.(Oct 2019).
• Set a Data Analytics method for weekly management reporting specialty to Snr VPs and CEO of the Organisation.( such as Emp Comp Data, HR demographic Data, Emp man hours data for various analysis etc. )
• Served as lead role in WORKDAY Cloud System Implementation (Go Live : April 2019)
• Implemented 2 Payroll HRIS systems for AECOM (In 2009 & In 2015),
• Managed HRIS outsourcing with a 3rd Party Firm( CapGemini) ( 2016).
• Implemented WPS for UAE and Qatar (2009-2016).
• Implemented GDPR Compliance for data transfer between operating region
• Merged legacy company payrolls to a centralized payroll system for 11 AECOM business entities.
• Performed lead expert role in Oracle HR OTL PAY Implementation-in UAE, Qatar, KSA, Bahrain, Oman, UK, South Africa and India.(2009-2016).
• Implemented various Payroll Controls, Processes and Procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley -SOX.
• Participated in the team for framing various HR, Admin, Finance & Payroll Policies, Salary Structure and Process Restructuring.
