RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Manage projects to meet contract requirements in line with regional project plans and national regulations and Client Procedures/Codes of Practice. ❖ Effectively communicate in a professional manner with other team members including construction staff, project staff, design staff, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to achieve project goals and deliverables. ❖ Provide technical expertise to resolve client and project requirements. ❖ Improve existing awareness of environmental best practice and appropriate national, international and local guidance/procedures. ❖ Maintain high awareness of Environmental aspects during all site work. ❖ Preparation of environmental inspection reports. ❖ Review of contractor documents such as monitoring plans and CESMPs. ❖ Assist Contractors to establish criteria, evaluate compliance and develop corrective measures to improve environmental performance in all areas of the work scope. ❖ Uphold high technical standards. Always provide scientifically robust and defensible data and be prepared to
challenge the integrity of data provided by others; and ❖ Continually look to improve and innovate existing environmental compliance and awareness programs and practices.
POSITION: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER (March 2020 - February 2022) LOCATION: RIYADH KSA
PROJECT: KING KHALID INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RIYADH MEDICAL EVACUATION CONSULTANT: DAR CLIENT: Ministry of Defence & Aviation (MODA) SCOPE: CONSTRUCTION OF ADMISTRATIVE BUILDINGS, RESIDENTIAL COMPLEXES ALONG WITH
TAXIWAY, APRON, INFRASTRUCTURE, SHADED STANDS AND STEEL FRAMES.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Reporting to the corporate HSE Director. ❖ Established Environmental Management System for the company from scratch, which includes planning & development of EMS, implementation and getting EMS ISO 14001 certification for the company. ❖ Prepared Environmental Management Manual integrated with Health & Safety Manual as per the EMS ISO 14001 standard. ❖ Developed Environmental Policy for the company and prepared all the required SOPs and Plans as per the EMS ISO 14001 standard. ❖ Prepared Environmental Legal compliance register, and Environmental aspects & Impacts register as per the company business requirements. ❖ Participated in the bidding and pre-qualification stage of the projects at corporate level and prepared requested documents as per the clients requirements. ❖ Responsible for Environmental planning and documents preparation at the beginning of the projects across the Kingdom. ❖ Responsible for hiring competent staff for the Environmental section under the umbrella of HSE Department. ❖ Responsible for conducting the Environmental Audits on all the projects across the Kingdom. ❖ Set KPIs and Targets for the Environmental Section as an Integrated part of HSE withing the company. ❖ Implementation of Permit to Work System and other procedures at project sites. ❖ Conduct and ensure that regular Toolbox Talks (TBT) Meeting should be carried out for specific jobs and provide on job safety training to the workers. ❖ Monitoring of field work activities to eliminate the Unsafe Practices and Conditions of different plant construction activities. ❖ Maintained MSDS of chemicals and other substances hazardous to health, which may lead to unsafe working conditions and environment. ❖ Providing safety advice and guidance to the site management & supervisors. ❖ Responsible for companys environmental matters & waste management control. ❖ Ensuring Civil, Mechanical & Electrical safety requirements in the field. ❖ Participating in Incident Investigation and preparing incident reports for the Client.
Reporting to the corporate QHSE Director.
Responsible for planning & development of EMS, implementation and getting EMS ISO 14001 certification for the company.

Developed all the required SOPs and Plans as per the EMS ISO 14001 standard.
Prepared Environmental Legal compliance register, and Environmental aspects & Impacts register as per the company business requirements.
Participated in the bidding and pre-qualification stage of the projects at corporate level and prepared requested documents as per the client’s requirements.
Responsible for Environmental planning and documents preparation at the early stage of the projects across the Kingdom.
Responsible for hiring competent staff for the Environmental section under the umbrella of QHSE Department.
Responsible for conducting the QHSE Audits at all the projects across the Kingdom.
Set KPIs and Targets for the Environmental Section as an Integrated part of HSE within the company.
Developed & Implemented waste monetization program within the company business and earned/saved a good amount.
Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the project and environmental risk assessment for the activities on site.
Actively participate that the project work to be carried out according to Aramco Standards.
Follow up the instructions given by Environmental Protection Department (EPD) day by day.
Responsible for implementation of Environmental Management Plan and improve environmental conditions on site.
Ensure and monitor environmental issues on site and rectify them immediately ASAP.
Conduct toolbox talks about environmental and health issues to the workers at site.
Conduct environmental and health awareness trainings for the people working in the company.
Conduct Air quality analysis and ensure PM10, TSPs under permissible limit according to Environmental
Protection Department / Aramco Standards.
Conduct noise analysis through noise meter at different locations on site and suggest the working principles under high noise areas, their exposure time limitations.
Ensure proper site temporary facilities rest shelters, drinking stations, smoking areas, toilets etc. to be provided to the workers at site.
Implementing waste segregation with color code at collection points and proper transportation to the final disposal/recycling areas.
Preparing proactive and corrective action plans for the Oil Spillages.
Ensure designated areas for the Oil storage with secondary containments.
Regular monitoring for chemical storage area and providing trainings on handling and storage procedures as per MSDS.
Monitoring & supervision of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and RO Plant.
Ensuring the water quality parameters according to WHO standards.
Implementing HACCP in the company for food safety and providing trainings to the kitchen crew.
Conducting water testing analysis of dewatering discharge water to the sea on regular basis to ensure the results are according to Saudi Aramco Standards, Conductivity, Turbidity, pH etc.
Ensuring water chemical analysis from third party on monthly basis.
Ensure analysis report of dredged material according to Aramco standards before dumping into sea.
Ensuring oil spill control equipment on dredgers in offshore while dredging activities.
Submitting daily observation and corrective action reports to the Aramco for environmental concerns at site.
Carryout scheduled and unscheduled Environmental Audits on site.
Conduct root cause analysis for direct and underlying causes of environmental incidents/accidents at site
