Working as Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor with APM Container Terminals -Khalifa Bin Salman Port Hidd Kingdom of Bahrain
Responsible for Repair, Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Commissioning for Port & container terminal equipment’s, Super and post panamax Container cranes (ZPMC-CHINA), RTGS (ZPMC-CHINA), Cargo cranes, Sulphur Loader and Twin pick Bromma and ZPMC spreaders, Reach Staker, Empty Container Handler, Tip Loader, & Heavy Fork lifter
Supervising a team of Mechanics during Preventive and corrective maintenance
Conducting Toolbox meetings, drafting Standard Maintenance procedures, Critical Task analysis and Job safety analysis, and Hazard studies
Health and Safety ‐ participate in meetings for organization staff and contractors, involved in incident reports and corrective action items ensure all concerns and action items are dealt with
Responsible to set up schedules and ensure PM schedules are followed
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Carry out job of reliability and follow up related task, like inspection, diagnosis and follow the root cause of accidents
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure staff is trained and competent at the procedures & Identify additional staff training requirements
Monitor the work that is going on in the field, lease cleanliness, work performance, safety issues & make recommendations as required.
Under the direction of the manager, plan, monitor and evaluate employee job performance, and assist manager in conducting performance appraisals
Supervise contractors during special circumstances such as shutdowns & facilities related jobs
Work with the Crane Manager and Shift Managers on employee issues such as disciplinary action, performance reviews and position transfers
Responsible for mechanic’s work schedules, vacation schedules and timesheet approvals
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel or ability to quickly learn
Ability to use and program personal computers and programmable machine controls with demonstrated knowledge of existing/new machine programming languages
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all level
Work with other groups to ensure materials required are adequate for maintenance needs
Always involved in orders to ensure proper specification of equipment is ordered
Ability to oversee quality control activities
Analyze additional work and modifications to determine the cause and propose the solution to be implemented for any maintenance issue

Work experience of Gear boxes and automatic power transmission (Clark, flender and Allison)
Hand on work experience of Spreader hydraulic system maintaining Smooth Operation
Throughout Knowledge of repairing and maintenance of Hydraulic Pumps, Motors & cooling system Valves, Cylinders, and Seals (Vickers, Rexroth, Parker, hi-Force)
Hand working experience of replacing, & repairing Tyres of RTG Cranes,
Experience of adjusting Repairing & replacement of RTG Crane drive chain, & Tyre guards
