Being a Heavy Equipment’s Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor my duties and responsibilities are given below in short:
➢ Responsible of Maintenance Repair & Troubleshooting of Heavy Equipment’s like Container Terminal Equipment
➢ Quay Crane, Container Transfer Crane, Reach Stacker, Empty Container Handler, Mobile Crane, Terminal Heavy Lifter, Trailers, Over Head crane, Tip Loader, Truck Crane & all type of Heavy Equipment’s
➢ Carry the job of as per planning schedule like weekly monthly and hourly maintenance
➢ Monitors and directs the daily activities of Fleet Management operations; prioritizes work to be completed and provides daily updates to Engineering Manager and Planning Control
➢ Maintains contact with onsite equipment service team to ensure that repairs and safety enhancement are completed in a timely manner
➢ Keep in contact with other supervisors about the status of repair work so they may reassign work if necessary
➢ Always involve with service Team performing moderate to heavy work in all types of weather
➢ Good Communication & cooperation with operation Department
➢ Work Assign to Technicians & Provide them requires Parts, kit & tools
➢ Help the Service Team in Troubleshooting and overhauling of engines and its auxiliaries.
➢ Monitoring the Work Site & co-operate the Engineering Control and Planning
➢ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
➢ Assertive self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
➢ Working on RTG crane to changing wheel, wire rope, adjusting and servicing the brakes, Changing the gear box seals, bearing, gears, & shafts
➢ Having hand on over experience Adjusting Hydraulic oil pressure, Maintain the pneumatic system of machine, adjust & Repair the brakes, drive chain & driving shafts
➢ Maintain hydraulic power pack pressure and diagnose its faults and related issues.
➢ Inspecting wire ropes and checks its twist and analysis if any abnormalities occurred
➢ Preventive maintenance of Cummins engines and servicing & replacing the radiator, and damaged parts
➢ As per routine Attend the tool box talk, and discuss the (JSA) job safety analysis, (SOP) safe
Operation procedure & (RA) Risk Assessment
➢ Worked as Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Container Terminal Equipment
Quay Crane, Container Transfer Crane, Reach Stacker, Empty Container Handler, Mobile Crane, Terminal Heavy Lifter & Trailers
➢ Hand working experience of Diesel Generator Cummins KTA 19, KTA38, KTA 50 &
QSX15 engine models
➢ Having hand on work experience Hydraulic system of Crane power packs wheel turning,
Hydraulics Crane Rail Brakes, positive displacement Spreader pump for extract and retract the
Spreader Twenty to forty, Twist Locks, Flippers, Twin Pick System, interlocking, Hydraulics Trim, List, & skew System, Adjusting of System Pressure.
➢ Hoist Brakes, Trolley Brakes & Gantry Brakes setting, repairing and replacement jobs
(Bubenzer), Pinteh Bamag and hilmark) Electro Magnet Brakes & Disc Brakes
➢ Hand working experience and throughout knowledge of Changing the Trolley Wheel, Bearing, Pulleys, Side guide roller, festoon carrier bogies, shock absorber, energy chains
➢ Working Experience of inspection, measuring and changing Wire Ropes of Cranes
(35 mm & 1245 Meter Length Wire ropes)
➢ Maintain the Anti-sway wire rope System, Inspection Crane Pulleys, Shaves &
Bearing Replacements Related job
➢ Hand working experience of changing Wheel, Bearing, flanges and drive shafts
➢ Knowledge and work experience of Gear boxes and automatic power transmission
(Clark, Flender and Allison)
➢ Good knowledge and work experience of Hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
➢ Having throughout knowledge of Hydraulic Pumps, Valves, & Cylinder Seals changing
(Vickers, Rexroth, Parker, hi-Force)
➢ Working with high standard safety policy and keep the work area clean and tidy
Worked Maintenance of Rubber Tyre Gantry Crane, Shipping to Shore Cranes, Reach Staker, Empty Handler & Terminal Heavy Lifter.
➢ Having working experience of Cummins Generator I types & V types engine KTA-19, KTA-38 & KTA 50 & various models scheduled & Breakdown maintenance.
➢ Working Knowledge of Rtg Noell, Sts Noell and ZPMC QC Hoist Brakes Trolley Brakes & Gantry Brakes setting, repairing and replacement jobs (Bubenzer), Pinteh Bamag) Thruster type brakes.
➢ Maintain the RTG Antisway wire System, Ship to Shore ship collusion wire system Inspection of Crane wire ropes, Pulleys, Shaves & bearing replacements related job.
➢ Working experience of Terminal Heavy vehicles, Lifters, Reach Stackers, Gantry cranes, Mobile Harbor cranes & JLG man lift.
➢ Hand work experience of Gear boxes and automatic power transmission.
➢ Hand work experience of hydraulic system and its components and all valves, servicing & repairing.
➢ Having working Experience of air compressor, pneumatics air gun, pneumatics valve and pneumatics circuits repairing and servicing.
➢ Having throughout knowledge of Hydraulic Pumps, Motors, Valves, Cylinders, and Seals.
➢ Experience of adjusting Repairing & replacement the Rtg Crane drive chain, Quay Cranes Energy Chain & its Tray.
➢ Working experience of replacing, repairing & maintenance of engine radiator’s & engine cooling system.
➢ Hand on working experience of Crane lift cart, rack, lift brake, lift gear & lift side roller maintenance (alimak Sweden).
➢ Having knowledge of Hydraulic variable pump, Gear pump & telescopic motor drive
Maintenance, repairing, & replacement.
➢ Hand working experience of changing the RTG crane 14 mm & 33 meter Antis-way wire, 24mm & 63 meter of Hoist wire ropes.
➢ Hand working experience of changing Ship to Shore Crane 28 mm, 515 & 620-meter Hoist wire rope, 30 and 35 mm, 313 & 1245-meter Boom wire rope Replacement jobs.
