KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To finalize monthly financial statements with detailed analysis, variance reports, KPIs, sales & product/SKU analysis to support business decisions.
Monitor financial and accounting activities, monthly closing of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll processing, Cash management, etc. in line with developed policies and procedures
Monitor general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality of all GL accounting transactions, journal entry transactions and supporting documents.
To provide strategic forecast plans, Balance Score Card measures, feasibility studies & analysis to identify & interpret financial & non-financial risks in order to enable management to improve existing performance in line with business objectives. To review current and forecast future expected cash flow, analyze the Net working capital, & work on gaps.
To facilitate the process of preparation of the annual business plan.
To manage the relationship with Key Suppliers with a view to maximizing the strategic business objectives of the group FMCG sector.
Supervise and train the accounting team to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of conducting the day to day operations in the finance and accounting department of the company
Assist Chief Financial Officer in all the internal and external audits conducted in the company
Coordinate with HR & Administration department for processing the payroll, vacation, final settlement for the employees.
Managing the trade spend budget and claims with various principals (California Garden, America,
Pinar, Baytouti, Abu Siouf Rice, Energizer, Himalaya etc.)
Internal trade spends budget control including trade expires and damages.

Initiated reconciliation of Advances to Suppliers (GL vs. Sub-ledger) of SR. 60 Million; with proper balance confirmations and recommended settlements with 124 suppliers.
Implementation of Oracle Fixed Assets Register incorporating an asset base of SR. 600 Million from manual tracking to proper automated solution; with depreciation and cost reporting.
Assisted in documentation and monitoring of internal controls as well as establishing, maintaining and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
