Breakwater, Quay

Project scope : Design & Build of Breakwater, Groyne, Revetment, Boat ramp, Dredging, reclamation, Gravity Quay
wall, and Road works including MEP services for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth & Water Resources,
Oman.
Roles and responsibilities as a Construction Manager :
 Ensure that the work packages (Method statements, Risk assessment, ITP, Shop drawings etc., ) are timely prepared,
reviewed and are submitted for the approval.
 Coordinate the construction activities at site and manage the activities of the Planning Engineer, Project controller,
Site Engineers, Draftsmen, Surveyors and material collector.
 Support the Project Manager in all engineering aspects of the project and ensure that the work is executed in
accordance with the project technical scope requirements.
 Assist the Project manager in the development of work preparation schedule and ensure the resources, project
schedule and contract strategies are appropriate.
 Prepare a list of deliverables to the Project Plan (required deliverables from Client to Contractor, from Contractor
to Client, from Contractor to Subcontractors/Suppliers, from Subcontractors/Suppliers to Contractor and
deliverables for internal use.
 Prepare procurement schedule in liaison with the Project manager and ensure adequate tracking of materials and
reconciliation during and after execution of the project.
 Ensure timely review as appropriate on all Clients technical documentation ie., shop drawings, engineering design
issues.
 Liaise with the project planner on changes to overall project schedule risks.
 Keep the project team informed on all the relevant aspects of engineering issues that arise on the project, in terms
of progress, quality, safety and subcontractor/supplier performances.
 Identify risks and dangers (general and HSE) and ensure that the job safety analysis, risk assessments and lifting
plans are effectively implemented.
 Ensure the handover of systems is planned and managed efficiently and all documentation is in place to effect the
final closeout.

Scope of work consists
of Rockworks, Shore protection, Dredging, Reclamation, Geo bunds, Sheet piles load out Jetty, Quay wall blocks
placing for Greater Male Connectivity Project Scope of work
was execution of Rubavu Port Terminal Project which included construction of Quay with Bored piles 23m and 28m
deep, Precast pile beams, Deck slab, shore protection, construction of Break bulk storage building, Passenger
terminal building etc., for Overseas involved in various civil / marine projects, onshore
& offshore, construction of Quay walls, Pier, Piling works, construction of break water, casting & installation of
floating pontoons, early civil works for SARB artificial islands offshore etc., involved in providing EPC, Engineering
and construction management for factory buildings projects engaged in
executing earthworks, rock works, reclamation, ground improvement, revetment, groynes, artificial beach,
breakwater, and various infrastructure works for development of the maritime city named Sabah al-ahmad sea city
project, Kuwait, engaged in civil works for Oil & Gas (LPG & Diesel)
pipeline Projects of 300 km length, Segregation & land transportation of rocks for breakwater, land reclamation,
shore protection and various other construction works.

Project : - Works - Zone 1, 2, 3, 4 & 4B.
Fabrication, Delivery and installation of Precast concrete quay wall (13, 000 precast blocks) using both the marine and
land based equipment, construction of in-situ capping beams, suspended Precast decking and Supply & installation of
marine tubular piling works for the Pier.
Project : Design and construction of Temporary at Arzanah (Offshore- Abu dhabi).
 Dredging and disposal of approximately 25, 000 m3 sand from the sea bed adjacent to the jetty at Arzanah Island.
 Manufacture, supply and installation of Steel Tubular piles and composite wave barriers.
 Supply and installation of marine furniture and Navigation aids.
 Fabrication, Delivery and installation of Precast reinforced concrete L-wall blocks, backfilling and compaction
works. Supply and installation of the marine furniture.
 Fabrication, delivery and installation of floating pontoons with Aluminum frames for Laser vision. (Offshore Dhabi).
 Fabrication, Supply and installation of Precast reinforced concrete blocks and various other activities related to the works for the development of Oil fields at SARB.

 Lifting supervisory - Appointed Person (from Bureau Veritas and from TUV ).

Scope of work included rocks segregation and land transportation of rocks for construction of breakwater, dock yard,
land reclamation and related works for the Defense Naval Base at Karwar, India. (297km), India.
