•Taking technical lead in large-scale projects involving infrastructure and datacenter management, optimization, service oriented architectures, datacenter virtualization, business continuity and disaster recovery/avoidance.
•Collaborate with various business and technical entities such as program/project/technical teams to develop implementation solution plans, set delivery dates, and lead/supervise technical teams in implementations while participating in hands-on customizations and integration efforts to overcome problems and ensure delivery dates are met.
•Evaluate and provide recommendation for procurement of Servers, SAN/NAS Storages, SAN directors & Backup Solution that meets the business requirement.
•Oversee aspects of project life cycle and ensuring quality of deliverables, from initial kickoff through requirement analysis, design and implementation phases within the technical area of the solution.
•Take part in the procurement cycle such as preparation of Scope of Work, pre-tender meeting, evaluating vendor proposals, recommendation for awarding etc.
•Project management activities during the implementation and sign off phase of Servers, Storage, High Availability and Backup related projects.
•Actively participate in the implementation of Storage Systems, High Availability Solution using Symantec Storage Foundation HA / SUN Cluster in combination with various EMC storage replication technologies.
•Planned, Installed, and configured disaster recovery solutions including Symantec Storage foundation HA, Oracle-SUN Cluster using EMC Storage over EMC SRDF replication.
•Designed Active/Active data center solution with Disaster avoidance, zero RPO/RTO & 24/7 availability for Oracle RAC and VMware vSphere using EMC VPLEX Metro & RecoverPoint.
•Achieving high performance and availability requirements covering centralized / decentralized servers, storages, and service architectures.
•Designed, installed, configured and troubleshoot SAN Solutions including EMC SAN Storages, Brocade Fiber switches, Emulex / Qlogic / Brocade HBAs, Zoning, and EMC Data Domain Tape Libraries.
•Built advanced SAN Solutions, which includes Local / Remote Mirroring, Clones, Snaps, Volume Copy, Boot from SAN.
•Well versed with end-to-end SAN implementation: Host connectivity of UNIX, LINUX Windows & ESXi Servers, SAN zoning and LUN masking.
•Handled UNIX / Linux & Windows System Administration.
•Managed and maintained Oracle SUN Servers & DELL Blade Servers.
•Monitor and analyze server utilization, availability and performance.
•Provide analysis of system performance and capacity trends and make recommendations.
•Perform problem determination and resolution and report on outcome of troubleshooting.
•Manage, via change control, the operating system configuration and validate integrity of system configuration files.
•Planned and executed Hardware and Operating System Upgrades, packages installation and applying patches.
•Periodically conduct manual and automatic health checks and create & evaluate Health Check Reports.
•Provide system administration and operational support for high availability clusters such as Sun Cluster and VERITAS Cluster.

•Perform and schedule daily operation tasks, e.g. Security log review.
•Experienced in Configuring and Managing NAS Solutions, CIFS & NFS management on NAS Box.
•Administration/support of Brocade series SAN switches & Directors.
•Plan and execute Hardware and Firmware Upgrades of Storage Systems and SAN switches / directors.
•Attend datacenter engineering meetings as part of Server and Storage architecture.
•Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
•Stay current on industry through professional associations, trade journals, networking and seminars and propose new solutions that meet company business requirements.
