MAK Engineering is a company where nearly all kinds of electro-mechanical works including Metal manufacturing, Motor rewinding and overhauling, Generator Overhauling and other services are provided.
My responsibilities include:
• Analyzing and meeting sales targets
• Cost estimation
• Calculating quotations
• Project Management and Execution
• Steel Structure Design and Manufacturing supervision in workshop
• Drawings generation (2D & 3D)
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Business development
RITCO has the responsibility of operation and maintenance (O&M) for tunnels of the city of Makkah. My responsibility includes to manage the workforce that helps to achieve these goals. To visit the active sites and rectify any problem faced by the workers.
To work on projects involving making CAD drawings, making maintenance plans, installation of new equipment and meeting deadlines for handing over projects on time.
Also to collaborate with the consultant company personnel to meet the required standard of work.
My internship provided me with an opportunity to experience work on 217 MW combined cycle power-plant. Understanding corporate culture and power-plant operation and equipment was the main goal. Internship consisted of rotation in different departments including operations, Instrumentation & control providing cross functional experience. Experienced annual plant shutdown which provided an immense learning opportunity. Provided solution for 127 MW Gas turbine component. An experience which provided holistic understanding of power generation.
Learnt steps involved in production of different engineering equipment including boilers and other high pressure equipment. Different steps from designing, manufacturing, testing and maintenance were included.
