TAKING CARE OF FINAL (ELECTRICAL) TESTING PROCEDURES AS PER THE GIVEN STANDARDS
Before the execution of project, quality plan indicating a) various quality checks involved in the execution of the project b) extent of check c) reference document/ acceptance norms d) inspection agency is sent to the customer for his approval. On receipt of his approval the job is executed as per the approved quality plan.

The JOB Profile of the QC Engineer.
• Visit all the machines to oversee the situation and inspectors status at starting of the shift.
• Collect all inspection records from the machine and call all the shift inspectors for daily brief on quality activities.
• Coordinate with the outgoing QC/Eng. to gather information about the shift activities and check the log book and emails for any new issues and follow ups
• Conduct the cross inspection and record the results in the inspection data sheet in all machines at least 4 times in a shift.
• Analyze the inspection records and find out any abnormality. If any, highlight with the inspectors and manager.
• Prepare the in process inspection sheet ASAP SOPA received, as per cable code plus SOPA remarks and special instruction through emails if any.
• Ensure that the HOLD items are reduced by monitoring the identification and implementation of Preventive Actions.
• Do not let run machines with defective more than one length. Call immediate attention from Production QC manager etc to minimize the scrap.
• Ensure that no delay or unjustified stoppage of production occurs due to QC
• Report and alert for bad practices and events leading to loss of material, generation of scrap and potential failure of the product on the floor
• Keep your presence inside the plant all the time to enhance the support to inspectors.
➢ Reports
• Prepare daily finished cables report, daily hold report, attendance and NM report and other required report like conductor & extrusion reports.
➢ Communication
• Inform all communication related to product quality to the inspector immediately by calling meeting or display in notice board or any suitable mean.
• Improve communication and coordination with other depts.
To inspect all the aspects related from the starting of the aluminium and copper rods to the final stage of cables.
