I lead the deployment of Philips PACS system (previously Carestream) across Kingdom-wide MOH and Private hospitals. My responsibilities encompass PACS Implementation, senior technical leadership in projects, application support, training, post-implementation assistance, and fostering robust customer relationships.
The brief of my activities and responsibilities is as under:
• Enterprise Imaging implementation comprising of Philips PACS, RIS, EIS, Vue Motion, Speech Magic and Vue Beyond etc.
• Physical servers’ preparation, RAID configuration and servers’ virtualization using Hyper-V and VMware.
• Coordination with the relevant stakeholders including PACS Manager, HOD, Bio-Meds, Modality Engineers and hospital’s IT department.
• Remote and onsite support to address any technical queries/issues related to the receptionists, technologists, radiologists and physicians.
• Diagnostics workstations’ preparation and physical installation on site.
• Oracle Database administration, patching, tablespace management, performance tuning using ADDM and AWR and coordination with the developers.
• Oracle Physical Standby Data Guard setup and administration.
• Modalities integration and testing with PACS and RIS.
• CD Direct integration with PACS and hospital’s label design.
• DELL Unity 360 SAN and Load balancer setup and configuration.
• Guiding and assisting the technical team during the implementation.
• Data centre cabinet preparation to install servers, storage, switches etc.

I performed capacity planning for the deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 in both physical and virtual environments. My responsibilities included overseeing the deployment of Oracle EBS Vision, EBS cloning for test & development, Oracle ERP backup and recovery procedures and policies I also delivered training sessions for users in Oracle SCM, HCM, and Financials modules. Furthermore, I actively engaged in resolving day-to-day functional user issues, while crafting functional user documents, future process models, workflow diagrams, corporate presentations, and contributing to the development of proposals and contracts.
