- Working on the cost plus contract, providing all QS related services to the main
consultant (Dar Al Handasah)
- Review and monitor the contractor’s claims and recommend the claims on monthly basis
with regards to the Work Inspection Requisition (WIR) and related documents.
- Review, evaluate and agree the Interim/ Final quantities for different civil elements on
monthly basis.
- Analyse all the possible risk (cost) related to the project on quarterly basis and help in
mitigating them and notify the Line Manager on their closing.
- Prepare the Internal report for my Line Manager showcasing the percentile of the work
remaining across each project component.
- Make regular site visits to monitor the project and list out the unclaimed items to the
contractor for the progress to be claimed.
- Attend meetings with the main consultant with regards to any issue on the progress
recommendation, disputed/un-agreed elements and any other cost related issue.
