- Working on the cost plus contract, providing all QS related services to the main
consultant (Dar Al Handasah)
- Review and monitor the contractor’s claims and recommend the claims on monthly basis
with regards to the Work Inspection Requisition (WIR) and related documents.
- Review, evaluate and agree the Interim/ Final quantities for different civil elements on
monthly basis.
- Analyse all the possible risk (cost) related to the project on quarterly basis and help in
mitigating them and notify the Line Manager on their closing.
- Prepare the Internal report for my Line Manager showcasing the percentile of the work
remaining across each project component.
- Make regular site visits to monitor the project and list out the unclaimed items to the
contractor for the progress to be claimed.
- Attend meetings with the main consultant with regards to any issue on the progress
recommendation, disputed/un-agreed elements and any other cost related issue.

- Bidding for new projects by building up the unit rates and putting together all the
relevant documents as per the tender’s requirement.
- Identify, assess and mitigate the risks which arose during different stages of project.
- Confirm the contractual bill of quantities against drawings; verify the quantities at site
and informing project manager of any variation/inconsistencies
- Allocating work to subcontractors, calculating work done and certifying monthly
payment certificates.
- Record the variations and addendums related to work and agree the quantities with the
consultants.
- Other responsibilities include preparing weekly planning to achieve real time production
& project cost reports.
- Assist with the preparation of standard documentation reports, valuations, letters,
financial statements etc.

• Reviewing and studying tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Review project man-hours and the allocation of man-hours in conjunction with planning and cost control on a weekly basis.
• Monitors progress for the purpose of payment certificates preparation, records running
costs, comparing to the budget project cost control and accounting, forecasts and report to management
• Review and measure allocated work to subcontractors and their reported physical
progress.

• Worked on Al Raha Beach Development and Yas Island Car Park projects, responsible for the construction works at the site, performing regular inspections before & after concreting and noting down the cost variations.
• Responding to the NCR (non conformance report) and finally getting approved by the consultants for all the in-situ and prefabricated units.
• Conduct internal audits, including closing out external audit findings, creating audits
finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist Quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality
management system.
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality
procedures, etc.
• Attending the meeting with the clients, consultants and other associated parties to enable
swift progress of the project.
• Led a team of one assistant and 3 technician monitoring their performance and assigning
work. At moments when bad quality was being observed, regular training was given according to the quality policy and work implemented as per the method statements.
Resulted in the improvement of quality and got approvals from the consultant's.

• Responsibilities to find the Quantity take-offs, making the Bill of Quantities, estimating the contract value, monitoring of contract documents using FIDIC form of contract.
• Allocating work to subcontractors, calculating the quantity and preparing the contract
documents
• Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
• Responsibilities involved measuring calculations from both drawings and on site.
• Assisting with the site works at time and making sure the progress is met.
